Can anyone please help me find my wedding ring

Getting quite panicky now, I just can't find it anywhere and I'm currently not well so can't remember where I last had it.
Can anyone please help me?
I've tried retracing my steps as much as I've been able and am trying to pray to St. Anthony.

Bathroom - has it bounced on the floor and gone behind the toilet? Properly tucked behind the pedestal part? Same for the sink. In the soap dish. Under the bath mat.

Purpleavocado · 25/03/2024 21:17

Laundry - in a pocket, or the basket or washing machine

littlegrebe · 25/03/2024 21:20

Last time I lost mine I found it in my bag where it must have slipped off while I was rooting around in all the shite important items I absolutely need to store in there. It took me 2 goes to find it though. If you're a handbag minimalist it might not take you as long to check.

CabbageBearGoat · 25/03/2024 21:24

Between bed and beside table? I follow logic of being ill and taking it off mid-sleep... and it having fallen to the floor so you don't see it easily.

Mumteedum · 25/03/2024 21:25

Best way to find anything small and shiny is with a torch. Under beds, sofa, furniture etc. Crawl about on carpet with a bright light. Did you maybe take it off and it's got knocked off the counter/usual place?

GMH1974 · 25/03/2024 21:26

Mine fell off in the fridge once when I was putting food away. I hope you find it.

Mummyofthewildones · 25/03/2024 21:28

On the floor by your bathroom basin?

WavyLines11 · 25/03/2024 21:30

Places I've lost mine...

Inside a washing up glove
In the recycling bin, fell off and into an empty food packet- literally had to go through every item in the bin and by sheer chance found it.

What usually works for me is literally retracing my steps...

LadyBird1973 · 25/03/2024 21:32

Clothes drawers? Might it have gotten caught while putting things away?

Pieceofpurplesky · 25/03/2024 21:40

The fridge. That's where I normally find things

Saying a prayer to St Anthony for you. Don't let anyone empty any bins in the house until you've found it. Could it be on a windowsill? Bedside drawer? Fallen off on bed?

If you have been ill try lookung among your bed sheets and duvet. I am very unsettled when I am asleep while sixk and have removed my rings in my sleep because they felt itchy.

This is where I found mine !

TitInATrance · 25/03/2024 21:59

Mine used to come off when I took the sofa cushions off to hoover, and always ended up stuck down the back (though it might also be worth checking the hoover. Dressing gown/apron pocket.

TheSnowyOwl · 25/03/2024 22:06

Washing machine filter?

Crucible · 25/03/2024 22:13

If you are wearing trousers with any sort of turn up to them try the crease. They can fall off and land absolutely silently in this bit of your clothing.
I usually end up in baggy jogging pants when I'm ill and as I am short I roll them up.

Crucible · 25/03/2024 22:13

I have a feeling yours might be near bread in the kitchen. Try the bread bag.

Pinkbonbon · 25/03/2024 22:17

Seen as I'm trying to learn to read them, I did a tarot reading. Picked two cards and the googled what they were as a 'place' and coincidently, both seem to talk about cliffs/mountains, possibly near water.

So...side of the bath or sink?

Or inside/ on top of a tissue box maybe? On the fish tank? On a chair arm?

The two cards...one is concerned with skill building/mastery of a craft and the other, defense of territory.

ShinyBandana · 25/03/2024 22:23

I lost my rings for a whole day but eventually found them under a watering can on the bathroom windowsill. I swear I had looked there several times but I might just have pushed it rather than lifted it to look under.

Of course it had nothing to do with me crying out loud to my late nan and begging her for help (one of the rings was her wedding ring that I have worn since her funeral). 10 mins after wailing out loud to her I found them. Just as my husband was elbow deep in the contents of the outside bin. She always did have a good sense of humour

debbs77 · 25/03/2024 22:29

In the oven glove ......

Tessisme · 25/03/2024 22:36

I don't wear rings, but I did lose a small key a few years back and, in a lightbulb moment (aka desperation), tried the recycling bag and there it was. Seems feasible that a ring could also be lost this way. Just another wee place to try.

Aw, hope you find it OP.

primroseteapot · 25/03/2024 22:37

Bathroom sink area. Has it fallen into a bin nearby, for example.

PS: You don't need to "try to pray" to St Anthony. You just ask him to help you find it. Then you feel a pull, at some time a bit later, and there it is.

Cabbagepatchkid2 · 25/03/2024 22:42

I lost mine for two years and then found it behind a set of drawers in the bedroom. I always put my rings on top of them at night and when I lost it I checked underneath them but it wasn’t until I was getting rid of the drawers and actually pulled them right out did I find the ring tucked between the carpet and skirting board.

karma3 · 25/03/2024 22:50

I lost my engagement ring once, totally freaked but my sister found it under the cooker 😅

Theraininspainfalls · 25/03/2024 22:51

I’m now in a total state because mine has been missing for weeks and I’ve been trying not to be upset.
I think yours is under the bed.

snowlady4 · 25/03/2024 23:08

Have you done any washing? Could it be caught up in bedsheets or something. I've done that before with my phone!
