Second little girl on the way and these are the top 2 names. Help please!
Also need middle name suggestions.
She will be a sibling to Imogen.
Similar name suggestions also welcome!
Thank you! Smile

I like both, but my step daughter is Amelie with an acute accent on the first E as her mother was French (her mother passed away when she was quite small but she still has a lot of contact with French family), and I think it’s really pretty so I prefer that personally 🙂 Her French relatives say it in the French way obviously but in English accents it can get mistaken for Emily so I guess if that would bother you it’s not ideal.

Also, she is often known as “Am” I think almost universally among her friends so if you don’t like that, again, 🤷‍♀️🙂

Both gorgeous and both work nicely with Imogen I think. How do they sit with your surname?

Eloise is beautiful! Ava, Amelie, Eleanor & Evelyn are also beautiful names in my opinion.

trampoline123 · 25/03/2024 19:33

I love Amelie

Kpo58 · 25/03/2024 19:58

Amelie. I dislike the other name as it's like putting a random letter Infront of Louise (I know that it's a real name, but even so).

BreathingDeep · 25/03/2024 20:05

Amelie gets my vote as I named one of my daughters that - it’s lovely. For short, I call her Mimi, my husband calls her Bambles but everyone else calls her by her full name.

wafflingworrier · 25/03/2024 20:06

Eloise Kirsten

Eloise Mabel

Eloise is beautiful. They both are, but that’s my personal favourite.

Amelie Nova

I do like Eloise but prefer Amelie as written down Eloise looks clunky and 'wrong' somehow to me.

Devastated999 · 25/03/2024 20:18

I have an Eloise Elizabeth, who we call Ellie Betty

Onanotherlove · 25/03/2024 20:24

I like Amelie and had it as one of my baby names :)
We went with Gabriella in the end, but would consider it if we have a second

Thank you! Surname is a 2 syllable fairly common name so quite easy to fit with most first names
