Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot. Dd1's been down for a brew & just headed back up to get dressed for work so it's semi-peaceful (apart from the washer) now.

There's about 4 wash loads to do, because I was lazy about it towards the end of the week, and yesterday's pots to be done. Dd2's said she'll wash the pots so I'll plough through what washing I can before I head out.

I'm off for afternoon tea with three friends, two of them I haven't seen in ages. And I missed out on afternoon tea last time they went, to celebrate one getting married, because I was really unwell & had just had my first chemo. Very much looking forward to it!

Dd1's working all day, I'm not actually sure what time she finishes at 🤷‍♀️ She'll message when she finds out to let me know.

Dd2 is staying here. She didn't want to do anything much so is going to get her homework done & tidy her pigsty bedroom (or so she says!).

Depending on how tired I am later, I'll either pick up my book or Murdle for a while. I'm stuck on my latest Murdle puzzle but have found that if I put it down for a few days then try again I usually get it. Sometimes I don't understand how though!

Today I've had two coffees and a small croissant and I'm listening to radio three. Later I'm meeting a friend for second breakfast and a good blether at my local garden centre. I want a new plant for outside my front door, so I'll have a look whilst out. Housework and washing day for me. One load is done and I'll put another load in soon.

Good morning @lucysmam , it’s a wonderful sunny morning here although a bitterly cold wind . Just back from walking the dog and having a coffee before putting everything back in the bedroom that was decorated this week. I only had three walls repainted, it was done about 18 months ago but the blue made it very gloomy and I couldn’t stand it anymore!
I have the second load of washing to hang outside and one more to do.
Let’s hope that the sunshine keeps going for the weekend 🤞🏻

I've just finished my second cup of tea of the day and feel like I should "get going" instead of sitting here browsing through Mumsnet.

I'm going fabric shopping with my DSis later - I love a good fabric shop.

Peri meno means I am insomniac.
So, once everyone has left the house for their various Saturday activities, I’m going to change the bedding put a wash on, have a shower, clean pjs then I’m going to go back to bed for an hour.

Or I might do an hour in the garden! Spring has sprung, it’s sunny and I’m itching to have a bit of a clear up.

Good morning! I’ve been sleeping so badly lately (gotta love cancer treatment eh?) and am still feeling a bit fragile today. I’ve just had a coffee in bed and I think it’s about time to get up.

DD is in her bedroom and while I’d love to do something fun together today (a movie or lunch out) I think we’re both a bit sleep-deprived. Maybe a little walk in the park for some fresh air. I also want to do some planning for fun things to do this year and remind myself of stuff I enjoy. The little things!

Waiting for Dermot's mystery voice guess, then shower etc. pop to DM's to do her shopping, in work for 1 hour at 11.30, then hopefully a coffee and mooch round the charity shops with DH.
Ought to do some housework, but probably won't.

Good morning everyone. It’s lovely and quiet here with just me and dd9 awake (she’s only just woken up and is eating some breakfast). Dh and dd16 are already up, out and at work and dd19 and her friend are still asleep but will no doubt be up soon as dd19 also has work in a bit.

I’ve been awake since 6.20am so have one load of washing in the dryer and another in the machine (have 5 loads to do today as I was too lazy to do any through the week) and I’m just waiting on my Tesco shop which is due any time from 9am.

As it’s just me and dd9 today we’re off to have a look round a few shops, probably grab a McDonalds for lunch then we’re going the cinema this afternoon to watch Migration. I’m really looking forward to spending some one on one time with her.

Tonight we’re having quesadillas for tea and I think dh is going to the pub for a couple of hours. I might start a new series (no idea which one) before getting an early ish night and catching up on some sleep.

it’s not raining by the time the washing’s done, I may even risk hanging it outside to dry.
No major plans today - it’s been a tiring week and I was out late-ish last night at the theatre.
I need to have a shower, and then when DD’s carers arrive, DP and I will probably head to our favourite local cafe and watch the world go by for a bit.
Might pop round to my dad’s at
some point to admire his new flooring.

Morning! It’s my turn for a lie-in but I got up with the toddler for a wee and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I’ve been lounging in bed with tea and toast. Nicer than sleeping probably! Later there’s a local food market on where I’m hoping to find dinner.

Afternoon tea sounds lovely.

I’m also going fabric shopping. I’m still in early days of my sewing quest, but I managed to make two wearable dresses in cheap fabric last weekend, so now I’m going to try the same pattern in nicer quality fabric. Hope it works!

Hopefully, I’ll then be able to spend the afternoon sewing.

Will either make burritos for tea, or we’ll go out for pizza, depending on how energetic I’m feeling!

Have had a wonderful ‘potter-ing’ morning so far and have cleaned the kitchen, put on lots of washing and finished off my Sainsbury’s delivery list for tomorrow.
We have NO food in so also did a quick Deliveroo for this morning with the basics for a packed lunch. A bit pricey but I had a voucher and it’ll save us £££ when out today so I don’t feel too badly about it 😂

Off to the Zoo for the day to see the new baby Rhino and monkey area. Haven’t used our memberships in months so really looking forward to it! Will stop in a crafting store on the way back to get some card for Easter Trail Invites. DS decided on Thursday he wants to do an egg hunt this year and wants his friends to come, and due to some serious only child mum guilt I’ve agreed to host a last minute one next weekend 😅🫠

Then DS is having a sleepover tonight with my sister and I’m going out to dinner with some old friends which I’m really looking forward to! Quite a wholesome day all in all!

I’ve been up since before 7. Always wake up early these days. So have had a few cups of tea, did Wordle and Connections and had some toast. About to get some washing to put on.

Have been up and down letting the dog in and out and out and in and out and in all morning. She’s a pain! It’s too cold to leave the door open which is what she wants.

Hoping to persuade DH to come to the garden centre although I suspect he will just want to get out in the garden doing things as it’s such a nice day.

I have a bed to change and may hang it all outside as it’s so nice.

Other than that I’m planning a lazy afternoon reading after getting a few jobs done.

I'm just about to take DS to gymnastics then we have the in-laws coming to stay. Me and DH are going out with friends at 4pm to a place that does darts, bowling, curling, had a batting cage etc... then out for a curry. We've been trying to get this arranged for, no lie, two years so it'll be great for us all to go out and chat without the interruptions from the kids!!!

I'm on call at work, been here since 7, will finish at 2. It's being made infinitely better by my colleagues daschund puppy who is asleep on my knee whilst I work. I am going to meet dh and the kids, bar dd1 who is at work, for waffles, then home, quick change and going to meet my friends for a pizza and drinks.

So a calorific day and I'm a bit knackered so think I will be home earlyish but we'll see!

Looks like it’s going to be a nice sunny day here. Just having a cup of tea whilst toddler has his milk and snack. I’m off on my sisters hen party later so waiting for DH to come take over the parenting whilst I go and get ready. DS is full of beans so think he needs to go out to a park or something and run off some energy!

I'm still lounging in bed. Absolutely shattered, not been sleeping well. DH is downstairs making breakfast, DD was at a sleepover last night, will pick her up in a couple of hours.

All i want to do today is the absolute bare minimum. Sort the menagerie, chuck some washing on. Doze and hope DD isn't too overtired and grumpy all weekend.

Dh has taken the dc to their sports club. I’m still in bed with a little bit of a headache after a lovely night with friends! I usually go for a run on Saturday mornings but I don’t think that will be happening today….
Have loads of washing to do as I want to change all the beds to their spring bedding (although the weather is mocking me for thinking it’s spring)
I also need to go to the shops to pick up a clothes order and pop to dunelm for a few bits.
I suspect the afternoon will consist of gaming and tv for the dc! Then later on we are going out for a family dinner.

Day off today so been pottering about. On second cup of tea. DH is making brunch for us. Can’t wait.

Breezy and cool here but I have the window open for some air and it’s finally nice to be able to do that.

Not sure our plans today. We have all been ill with various colds this week so just really resting. Might try get us out for a walk later.
Im working a big shift tomorrow so nothing too strenuous! DH and DS are planning to cook in the BBQ tonight but we will eat inside.

So far I've had a coffee and am now catching up on a bit of work whilst DH does the food shopping

Normally on a sunny day like this we would be going out for a walk but I've injured my hamstring so I'm reluctantly resting.

Went to do the weekly shop
Came home put shopping away
Unloaded dishwasher
Just sat down with a coffee and croissant and I’m catching up with Coronation Street
Dh has gone to South America with work
Dd has a driving lesson this afternoon then has work
No plans for me other than washing and hoovering
I’m yet again full of cold and have a banging headache so might have a nap this afternoon

Good morning (just about). I'm considering doing nothing but a load of laundry and bit of tidying. Not even getting dressed!
We are doing offer holder visits currently and spent two nights in Durham last week and are going to Glasgow Monday. Dogs are on 'holiday' at a friends while we do this do don't have to worry about getting out for a walk.
So, I'm about to have second cup of tea and there's this almond croissant just begging to be eaten...

I'm ill☹️ I was meant to be sleeping in this morning but I was so uncomfortable I couldn't get comfy. My 6 year old normally does an activity on Saturday mornings but he decided he'd rather stay at home and snuggle me in bed instead, so that was nice❤️

I'm currently watching a BBC drama in bed with a coffee that I can't taste properly 😢
