Yes, I was quite touched by that. That even in the middle of going through this she was thinking of others. I’m sure the cynics will say well they have to consider PR 24/7 but i don’t think anyone would have said anything if she hadn’t mentioned others.

Actually no, not everyone will tell their children, especially if the prognosis is good/optimistic.

FFS! Many mothers of young children are diagnosed with cancer each and every single day. Let’s not make Kate a martyr to the cause. Yes, she has cancer, which is awful, but she is in an extremely privileged position of receiving the best of the best health care available.
I wish her well, but I’ll hold the single mother juggling work, finances, childcare and chemotherapy treatment in my thoughts more.

Irrelevant of fame wealth and privilege this is a 42 year old woman going through an atrocious disease and looking after her children.
As with all sufferers of this disease I feel nothing but sympathy.
