Really devastated I have broken a piggy bank I brought in a charity shop, really beautiful and unique can't find another anywhere. And only just found online there are ceramic repairs, to late as I put it in the bin. More devastated now ive put it in the bin. I dont know what I want out of this thread but just to talk and make me feel better I'm heartbroken 💔 sorry if you all think I'm mad!!😭

I had a mug once that was the most perfect mug in the world. Perfect weight, held the exact volume of tea I like, lovely handle, the right thickness to the china, and a lovely moose design on it. It was so perfect it seemed to make the tea taste nicer. My ex boyfriend put it away one day but left it right on the edge of the shelf so when I next opened the cupboard door it fell out and smashed on the counter. I never quite forgave him for it inwardly.

Was given a large ceramic personalised tile from our wedding on Italy. Left it on our hideous marble mantlepiece - it got knocked over and split in two. Stuck in back together and put it in a box frame - but you can still really see the crack.

@PossumintheHouse - what about Ireland? I haven't checked but I bet the issue is an EU one so they may ship to Ireland but you'd need to check and only worthwhile if you have friends in Ireland.

I am more than happy to help. We all need these small acts of friendship sometimes. I decided not to ask for postage fees (partly because I worry it may look like I’m scamming OP 😁!), but they’ll have more pennies to add to the piggy bank now 😄!

Amazing! What a lovely kind gesture and a perfect ending! ❤️

I had an angel from buffy the vampire slayer large glass that I had had for about 21 years, it was from poundland i think, and had survived 4 house moves! It unfortunately didn't survive my daughter knocking it off the side in the kitchen last year, she was heartbroken as everyone knew not to touch that as it was my go to glass, my absolute fave. I still miss it and have been searching for one since lol

@PossumintheHouse I live in Denmark (Copenhagen for the purpose of delivery) and can often get Amazon.de stuff delivered. If you check if you can get it delivered to me then I can post it on to the U.K?

Thanks so much! That's very kind. I'll check, and will check delivery costs. Will PM you.

As you are all so fab at tracking things down, if anyone can find me one of these mugs, I'd be ever so grateful. It was my favourite work mug until I dropped it on the way to the coffee machine one day (outside on a flagstone so it smashed into a thousand pieces). Been looking for the last decade for a replacement.
