I've just made my first cuppa of the day & am now firmly parked in my spot for the next hour or so, while I drink it. Dd2's already up so it might not be peaceful for long though.

The washer's already on & there are a few pots to wash up from last night. Not many though - we had takeaway 😋

The girls are off shopping for something for Mothers Day soon-ish, with their dad. They tried on their own last week but struggled. Dd2 announced last night that she's going to get pj's - suits me fine 😊

Dd1's going from town to work for 2pm. Not sure what time she finishes though, must get her to check.

I'm taking advantage & heading into town alone for a wander. I want a shampoo bar from Lush and a couple of other things. Might pop into Superdrug for a look at the makeup, see if anything takes my fancy, or maybe a sniff of the perfumes 👃. I might even nip to B&M!

This afternoon I plan to stitch the last of my bead tassels on my Eras Tour jacket, then pin where I want to put some more when my beads arrive. Dd2 has her maths homework to finish so I'll see if she wants to sit with me and do it.

Not sure what's for tea yet, I'll look after posting this and see what we have.

Tonight I'll pick up Murdle again, I'm stuck again 🙈 hopefully a few days break will help me see what I'm missing!

Good morning Lucysmam and others. I'm unwell with sinusitis which is causing me lots of face pain. I've had breakfast and two cups of coffee too. I'm going to have a shower soon to see if the steam helps. Later I'm going to dd's for afternoon tea for Mother's Day. Otherwise a quiet day til this infection clears up

The sun is shining here, which is nice! I'm about to get out of bed as we have a busy day. Need to sort the menagerie as soon as I'm up so we can get out the door to drive to the big saddlery an hour away. Then headed for fish and chips and then have to be back in time for DDs riding lesson at 4. Not quite the lazy weekend I'd hoped for!

Probably pick at crisps and dip type thing for tea later if anyone's hungry after fish and chips. Early night I hope after being up too late last night as DD got glutened

Been up a while doing some chores with DP. I like to get them out of the way as early as possible at the weekend!

We don't have much planned and I'm relieved as we've had a busy week. We'll be going into town shortly because we need a new bed for our dog. I'm deciding whether I can be bothered later on to clear out my wardrobe. Could also do with giving the car a good clean. Will see how I feel later!

Slowcooker curry for tea and we'll probably watch a film if we can find one on Netflix.

Good morning everyone. I was up nice and early this morning as I went to bed at 9.15pm last night - I was shattered for some reason!

Washer is on and the Tesco shop has been delivered and put away. Dh is at work today and dd16 stayed out last night so there’s just me, dd19 and dd9 in the house. Dd19 is working today and dd9 has just asked if my niece can come round to play today which is fine by me.

The house isn’t too bad downstairs - I just need to hoover round and dust and probably clean the bathroom. When dh gets home we need to put the bedrooms back together as we had new carpets fitted in dd19 and dd9’s rooms yesterday so most of their furniture is still in dd16’s room (no wonder she stayed out last night 🤣).

Then tonight it’s lasagne, garlic bread and salad for tea before a film then bed.

I’m at DD’s gymnastics, trying to resist a cake from the cafe (will probably fail!) Nipping into town afterwards to get something for my mum for Mother’s Day. Nothing like leaving it late 😬.

Hopefully DP is getting DS’s homework done then they’re off to the football this afternoon. We’re going to the pub for a meal with friends later.

Good morning lucysmam & everyone. Feeling better than yesterday ( I had bad shoulder/arm pain which paracetamol & ibuprofen didn’t really help plus my tum was off). Hoped for a lie in but DD15 & GF were being noisy as per. It’s their one year anniversary today. I went to get Maccies breakfast wraps for them. I might have a bacon sarnie later. The dishwasher needs unloading/loading & there are enough dirty clothes for at least one load of washing. I keep saying it but really need to do a charity shop run. My car boot is packed to the gills! DM is being discharged from hospital today so I’m going round this afternoon. DB is down so it will be good to see him too. I’ll take DM’s Mother’s Day card & some flowers. Chicken pie, mash, leeks & petitpois for tea. The girls will probably have chicken dippers & chips.

Morning all.
I've just had a cup of tea in bed. Will be dropping ds off at his dad's soon. Later I'll be dropping dd off at work, unfortunately I can't have my usual glass of sanity saviour wine as I'm then picking dd up when her shift finishes about 10. So mums taxi duties as usual! (my own fault for choosing to raise kids in a rural area with shit public transport!)

Morning! DH and I've been sitting on the sofa in our new extension chatting about other bits and pieces we want to do to the house. Having a new room makes the rest of the house look a bit tired. I'm now on my second cup of coffee while DH has gone to shower and get ready.

No real plans for today but it's sheets / towel change day so that will take up some time. Might pop to B&Q for some paint for the shed as we've just decided to paint it.

Football later this afternoon and we'll find out whether DD and her boyfriend decides to come over for steak dinner as they have a habit of doing on Saturdays. If not, will probably watch an episode or two of Gentlemen after dinner.

Morning all. I’ve had a busy morning doing chores and dropping off DS to his aunty as I’m working today. Think will be busy so already looking forward to finishing 🙈. I quite like work but I'm just permanently exhausted right now.

Tonight will be homemade pizzas by DH once he’s back from his hobby with DD.

Good morning @lucysmam and folders, it’s grey and chilly here unlike last Saturday when we had snow.
So far I have done the ironing and put it away, DH is walking the dog and there’s a load of towels in the washing machine. Yesterday’s washing dried beautifully in the sun and breeze, I love line dried laundry.
I’m about to do a bit of art stuff, faggots and mash for dinner, nothing else planned.
Will walk the dog again later.

Washing basket is empty thanks to adult son being off work this week.
I've got an IKEA flat pack to assemble and some pictures to hang.
Will be nipping into town for a browse around the shops and a slice of my favourite rhubarb and custard cake.

Morning @lucysmam and the Saturday morning gang. I'm currently sitting on the sofa with DCat1 on my lap. I had my appendix out on Sunday morning, so I'm very limited in what I can do.

I'm going to listen to a radio talk show shortly (11-1) and then watch the two rugby matches.

My sister is calling in at some stage with groceries.

DD cooked an Irish stew yesterday and we'll have leftovers today.

I've had a horribly emotional week but I caught up with a friend last night, which sort of turned into a date, which has put a smile on my face.
DC are at their dad's this weekend but exH has asked if we can go out for mother's day lunch today which is nice of him.
I've been lazing in bed drinking coffee and taking stock of this week and how things generally are. We've all been through alot in the last year and it's been horribly traumatic. I'm not in a brilliant place so wondering what to do first about it.
Going to get up shortly and clean the kitchen and tidy the lounge before lunch. Then I've got to go to the tip and do the shopping for the next week. My DM and DGM are coming round tomorrow morning for brunch so I need to get some flowers together.

Hoping to wander down to the pub to catch the rugby at some point and treat myself to a pint!

Morning all! Was up at stupid o’clock walking the dogs then came back to bed and we have all been snoozing. Should do some homework today as I’m between cleaners again, but likely won’t as still recovering from the nasty virus that’s going round. So a good excuse to rest and a book. I have a couple of new ones to pick up so looking forward to relaxing with various dogs and cats - whoever chooses to cuddle in - and read. Bliss.

We are painting the spare room. Have done five rooms since Xmas and this will be the last until Autumn. I have already put two loads of washing out, it's grey but very blustery, hoping it might brighten up later for a walk.
Need to order some online bits for a holiday to Gran Canaria next Saturday. Also to dig the big suitcase from under the bed.
Out with friends this evening.

Morning all.. I'm feeling sorry for myself..
I have the most horrible sore throat and chesty cough.. plus a Fibromyalgia flare up.
Hardly sleeping.
I've told my family to stay away from me.. so I've had cards delivered for Mothers day but will be first one on my own this year.
Daughter and Grandkids only just getting better from a virus themselves.
I've had two cups of decaf tea.
I'm trying to find the energy to have my morning shower ( luckily wet room and a chair).clean pj's then back in bed.
So it's telly.. phone and reading today.
Not hungry but when l do will be a bowl of heinz chicken soup.
Upset l won't be having my Sunday day out tomorrow.
On the bright side this time in two weeks I'll be in the Canaries.

Morning. Am in the UK to help YD after an operation. ED is coming to see us both later. Did the shopping yesterday, so cooking roast chicken for dinner. Am knackered. Do’t seem to be able to sleep much here. Have to wash YD’s hair later, shower and get a wash on. Not much else to do.

Im working unfortunately

Another one not feeling great today. I’m on my third tea and will likely plan my day around more cups of tea because it seems to be the only thing soothing me.

The weather is bright and clear here which makes a nice change but also means the world and his wife are cutting the grass and doing noisy DIY.

I’ll try and drown them out with some Netflix. Probably do an inoffensive pasta for tea.

I'm having a lazy day today. I'm currently on my new exercise bike, working off the Cornish cream tea I had delivered and had for a late breakfast . Its my second one in two weeks but they're expensive so I'm going to have to wait a while before I order another one!

My youngest is going to his dad's for a bit and I'm going to Morrison's then for a walk I think.
