What weird and wonderful words and phrases have your DC invented which have now replaced the actual word in your household?

I give you:

Minion Rolls (mini choc chips brioche rolls - presumably because they are shaped like minions)
Pano chocolate bar (pain au chocolat)
Beebo (pepperami - no idea why)
Cheese beebo (cheese string - I guess self explanatory)

Please no judging for the crap my DC eat 🤣

Not a word as such but ‘look after for’ instead of just ‘look after’. Still use that in the family as it’s so cute.

DC keeps forgetting the word for his wrist so resorts to calling them 'hand ankles'.

Spirael · 09/03/2024 08:21

We have a walk in cupboard in one bedroom, and when DD1 was little she was surprised to walk into the room and see another door, so she pointed and said "More door!"

The walk in cupboard has been known as Mordor ever since.

Sneezes don't get a 'bless you' but a 'sneezy bear' instead.
And most everyone in the family has 'bear' added to their names from time to time so i'm sometimes Mummybear and the dog is Spot Bear, adult child is Name Bear.

Eminybob · 09/03/2024 08:30

These are cute. I am especially loving hand ankles 🤣
