I logged on back to normal which is good. :) I thought I'd been hacked as well!

It's been really hard not knowing what people have been eating, where Jane who I haven't seen since 2017 is going on holiday or the treasures I can buy on FB marketplace. It's weird but I seem to have managed.

Yes. I deleted and reinstalled the app thinking it was just my phone.

Long thread so forgive me if its been mentioned

It will not recognise my Password so I requested for a code to my email. Nothing.
Same with my Mobile number. Not a thing..
Incidentally, its still logged in on my Mobile phone

Same happened to me on my mobile, it said it would send a WhatsApp code I could use...but it hasn't

As an aside my 17 year old has recently joined fb...because there's a group for new starters at the uni she's planning to go to (I've no idea why they didn't use a more young person friendly form of sm but it's nice being the one to show her how it works for a change! 😉)

Mine also kept sending me codes that did not work. I ended up logging in with my old password without issues.
