Another vote for Red Dwarf.

Durdledore · 04/03/2024 22:35

Another vote for The Goes Wrong Show 😅

MrsP80 · 04/03/2024 22:37

Mine like Here We Go, Outnumbered, Only Fools and Horses, Red Dwarf, Miranda, Some Mothers Do Ave Em

Phillippeflop · 04/03/2024 22:37

Following as I have an 11yo who also loved ghosts and we need something new! I’m going to check out the gone wrong show. I love the IT Crowd so might introduce DS to that!

Alalalalalongalalalalalonglonglilong · 04/03/2024 22:38

From recollection the only Fr Ted episode to be concerned about is the milk float one.

foodtoorder · 04/03/2024 22:39

Blackadder
Only fools and horses

TiredMum30 · 04/03/2024 22:40

My kids love superstore and they've rewatched it a few times.

DonttouchthatLarry · 04/03/2024 22:43

Definitely Here We Go as Jim Howick from Ghosts is in it.

SpringSprungALeak · 04/03/2024 22:46

I was surprised but they LOVED Fawlty Towers.

They enjoyed The Good Life, Some Mothers do have 'Em, George & Mildred & other 70's programs.

Pozz · 04/03/2024 22:49

Mr Bean
One foot in the grave
Fawlty Towers
Blackadder

legallyblond · 04/03/2024 22:50

We (13 / 10 yo DC) love (post-ghosts) outnumbered, Miranda and vicar of dibley (some power rude bits though!). Our main watch right now though is great British menu!

thesleepyhoglet · 04/03/2024 22:51

Fawlty towers is such a good call! I'm definitely going to try and find that.. YouTube perhaps

Pozz · 04/03/2024 22:53

My 13 year old loves Yes Minister and we all love ghosts. Tried the American version but it's just not the same.

Anyone seen Yonderland? I'm considering buying the first series but it's not on a channel we have. Is it worth it?

thesleepyhoglet · 04/03/2024 22:55

As an aside, despite the moustache and hair John Cleese looks much younger than I remember in FT

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 04/03/2024 22:56

Friday night dinner is funny, quite a bit of swearing though so they might be a bit young for it.

CuteCillian · 04/03/2024 22:57

IT Crowd

HRTQueen · 04/03/2024 23:01

Fawlty Towers
Friday Night Dinner
Here We Go
Outnumbered

TheCatOnMorrisseysHead · 04/03/2024 23:04

The IT Crowd was a big hit with my daughter of a similar age.

PanadTe · 05/03/2024 06:21

Thank you!

We’ve watched Friday Night Dinner… loved it! And Outnumbered. Again, love it.

Will try the IT Crowd. I’ve never seen it either.

I like Yonderland but it is very different to Ghosts. The humour is much more surreal and it’s very silly, but the puppets are brilliant.

Fargo79 · 05/03/2024 06:38

Mine love all the old British comedies. Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, The Good Life, Keeping Up Appearances, The Vicar of Dibley.

DD quite likes Outnumbered too.

SprinkleOfSunak · 05/03/2024 06:39

People Just Do Nothing.

Still Game.

Benidorm.

These are mine and my Husband’s top 3 favourite recent British comedies, and we know a lot of teenagers like them too. I think they’re all 15’s though.

YouJustDoYou · 05/03/2024 06:41

Little Britain/Fast Show, to teach them how we used to be able to laugh at ourselves without the police turning up on our doorstep for hurting feelingz.

grafittiartist · 05/03/2024 06:41

Goldbergs?
