£23 pound for these and £4 postage. I find this sort of thing fascinating. Somebody is making these and selling them. Kudos to them for having the gumption I guess. Who the fuck is buying them?

These bloody box like frames are the new Live Laugh Love signs and it gives me I putrid feeling in my chest when I see them. 😂

I moved abroad recently & am shocked by what people will try to sell! I'm also shocked people will clearly PAY for some of these items. Where I'm from, you'd just give them away (for free) or donate them. Oh look, an old, used, coffee mug, selling for one dollar..just why!?!

People who think they’re cute, wouldn’t make them themselves, and have more money than sense 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m in Liverpool and our bargain bay is hilarious. I’ve seen an ad with someone selling hash cakes. Various prices included various ingredients such as heroin. I’m sure I screenshotted one. Let me look…

I mean... hard times and all that so fair play to anyone with a side hustle. But who's buying them?! Surely no one.

Look at it! Someone has taken the time to print out the little page of words and glue the bits of wood on. They've invested money in the frames and printer ink and paper 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ours seems to have mainly utterly manky, stained settees or beds ‘going free’ 🤢
I wouldn’t even let my dog sit on them yet someone is supposed to be so grateful to acquire them.

My local fb marketplace seems to be mostly flooded with scammers, selling items worth several hundred quid for "free". They all have user names that have two first names instead of a first name and a surname, and have all joined facebook this year.

I can at least understand these. Someone's chancing their arm that it'll be taken because they can't be arsed taking it to the dump themselves or arranging an uplift from the council.

But these wee crafty things... I don't know what's going through people's minds. I bet their family must say "Oh Sandra that's beautiful, folk would pay money for that."

I also see a lot of beds for sale with scantily clad women draped on them. At first I thought it was just to get your attention. Now I think it's prostitution.

I've posted this before because it made me laugh. I need the back story as to why it's so urgent that this hat leaves the current owners possession.

On our local FB group last night, someone was trying to sell a 'treat box' of 4 pieces of tray bake - it was clearly the type you can buy in supermarkets normally for about £6.

They were advertising it as 'home made cake' 4 pieces for £12. People were actually 'liking' the post and asking when they could collect.

You have to admire the seller's chutzpah. 😂

I’m getting the vibe it’s definitely stinky lady slippers he’s after. And he’s got nothing on Friday fart man. Every weekend he posts that he’s looking for a lady with stilettos and fishnets to walk up and down his body and fart in his mouth. He offers so much money even I considered that one. A bit of crafty tat would be a relief to what I have to see on mine. Saying that I’m not gonna lie and say I haven’t spent entire evenings with a bottle of gin watching bargain bay spats. Latest was jenna and the lash lady. Lash lady is new and charging next to nothing for Russians to build up her portfolio. She’s mobile as well and travelled well out of her way to see jenna. Jenna later posted a very sad looking photo of her lashes, they were hanging off her cheeks. Lash lady was getting ripped apart despite her insisting she didn’t leave like that. Lash lady was exonerated after she went on jennas insta and found an hour after getting her lashes done, she was sat in a bloody sauna and steam room, no wonder they fell off! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Jenna dirty deleted. @savethatkitty where did you move to, because I've recently moved too, and cannot believe the absolute junk being sold here for crazy prices! (Currently sitting in my very unfurnished house, as I cannot bring myself to pay so much for utter crap...)

I make crafty things, and they are beautiful and I do get those comments - but family really don't have a fucking clue a) how long it takes and b) how much of an insane markup you have to put on to make it worthwhile.

For example - lovely little felt decorations. I make them to a high standard, but each one takes an hour minimum, plus the cost of materials. Selling them for less than a tenner would be daft. I give them as gifts instead, and consider it a saving rather than an income stream.

(To people who like bespoke Christmas decorations it must be said)

I don’t seem to see them now but I used to get lots of ‘must be gone by 6.30pm as I’m going out at 7pm’ alongside some used dress. As if there is a whole community of people wanting to buy their second hand clothes in a hurry.

im looking for some drawers for the garage. It’s amazing how many nice cheap ones there are and how many chipped damaged ones being sold for an absolute fortune.

Our local pages have people offering manky old sofas/wardrobes/"Chester draws" free to collect, hoping someone mug will take it off their hands to save having to lug it to the tip or pay the council to collect.

Wouldn't you just give it away or donate it or even just bin it rather than go through the hoola of trying to sell & haggle on marketplace???? My mind boggles
