Good Morning All! What's Everyone Doing Today?

I'm just about to drink my first cuppa, in my kitchen spot. I'm first up, as always, so it's nice and quiet sat here. The window's open a little bit so I can hear the birds in the gardens but I also have the heating on to warm me up a bit. I need to make sure dd1's up for her first shift at work soon, but for now I'm enjoying the peace.

We haven't got anything planned for the day, I don't think. Dd1's off to work until 6pm ish. Dd2 has a little bit of homework to finish so I'll see how she's getting on with that.

My plans are to follow yesterday's instructions from the dental surgeon at the hospital and relax. I'm about half way through adding beads to my Eras jacket so I'll carry on with that, then maybe get the beads out and make a few bracelets.

I forgot to get anything out to defrost for today's tea, last night, so will have a look in a minute and see what there is.

Early showers and early nights all round, ready for the coming week. Dd1 always showers quite late so I'll pick up my book, or crochet, until she's done.

I'm doing absolutely nothing! Heaven.

Church this morning then a fry & we are heading somewhere for the day (shopping centre and coffee shop maybe) as we haven’t done much as a family in a few weeks due to bereavement and other things

Coffee, decaf but coffee nonetheless.
Washer is one, beds stripped, dishwasher on the go.

Then a lovely bath and then I’m going for a walk to the garden centre cafe for coffee and cake with a good friend.

Im done in, nearly at the end of my tether so really looking forward to this brief hours respite for all of the shitness that life is throwing my way at the moment.

How did the extraction go? Hope you aren't in too much pain?

Was planning a PJ day but it looks like the first nice day in forever so I feel guilty wasting it.

Going to rush through a few chores, have a quick shower and once the food shop has arrived we are going to go for a canal walk and meet a friend and her two DC for lunch. We'll go to the little cafe in the local nature reserve.

Later will be homework, kids baths, ironing and I have some meatballs defrosting so all I need to do is boil some pasta / make a salad and bung a garlic baguette in the oven.

I've had two coffees and an almond croissant. I'll head for a shower shortly as I have an appointment at the opticians. Later I'll visit mum. In between, I'll have a quick shop at Aldi and do some housework. I also have an ironing to do that has been lurking for a couple of weeks. Roast chicken for dinner. Enjoy your day.

Morning! We're on holiday so we'll go hit the breakfast buffet shortly then lounging and reading for the day. We might venture out to another resort for a wander and dinner later.

Last holiday before we have our baby though, so there's no big full on exploring and excursions planned this time. Just enjoying being able to relax, sleep and read!

I've got to do a bit of work today as school has an inset day tomorrow so I will be working around kids, which is putting me behind. Dh is taking kids to soft play this morning. Dd has violin group later. Need to fit in some DIY, filling in holes and sanding them smooth so can paint the mdf with sealer during the week. Things feel so busy all the time... Really I want to read a book.

I have had that foul cold that's doing the rounds, and still feel pathetically washed out. So it's feet up, and a day of reading (and napping).

I'm currently eating some Nutella toast with a cup of coffee, watching cartoons on Disney+ with ds2. Oldest and youngest still asleep in bed.
Lovely sunny day here so hopefully will get out and about when everyone is up and ready although not sure what the plan is. Maybe visit the skate park as the older ones have been asking.
I will need to pop to the shops for some bits for the week for school lunches but otherwise a nice relaxing day again. Washings need done and upstairs needs a hoover so will sort that too.
Chicken sausages for tea, not sure what with yet.

Good morning! We are child free until teatime because ds had a sleepover at his grans last night. It's a very rare occurrence! It's a lovely sunny day so we are going for a drive, walk and a cold water dip in the waterfall there. Going to get a pub lunch while out aswell 😊

I'm in bed. DH got up with DS and is taking him swimming so I can lie here and do nothing til about 12pm. Then we'll go for a nice country walk as the weather is lush. Chilli in the slow cooker, a glass of red and an early night as I have a mentally busy week coming up.

Morning, we're all still in bed. DH asleep and not expecting to hear DD14 up and about for a while. I'm about to go downstairs and have some coffee and toast and read for a while before anyone else gets up. Rainy day here so no plans to leave the house. Might tackle the understair cupboard that's been needing cleared out for ages!

On my 2nd coffee and chilling on the sofa. Was supposed to be going to the gym but have neuralgia which has frozen one side of face as well 🤦‍♀️ In agony. Hoping to do a home workout instead later on after some codeine. Need to strip the beds and clean around and that's it for the day. Ds1's football match is not till later this afternoon, so will be freezer food for tea. Hope everyone has a nice day 🙂

I’m currently lying in bed wondering what to have for breakfast.

Later I will clean out the fridge freezer I left to defrost over night last night.

I also plan to eat a small chocolate caramel tart I have in the freezer with some blood oranges and vanilla ice cream at some point.

Apart from that it’s reading and tv and pottering all day.

It went well thanks @Crunchymum . Much, much, faster than I expected & a lot less painful than everyone had said it would be, although it's still sore.

@LadyMacbethssweetArabianhand I don't do sitting still very well 🙈

We had a dinner party last night so we'll spend the morning tidying up and sorting the washing for the week ahead. I'll probably take the children for a bit of a walk.
I will do the ironing and DH will clean the living room whilst we watch the football this afternoon. No idea what's for dinner! I was considering lamb but I completely forgot to take it out of the freezer last night so I will just have to wing it!! Then it's early nights all round.

Morning. Relaxing at the moment; DO just brought us a coffee up to bed. I’ve just ordered a Tilly and the Buttons dress pattern, so I’m browsing Instagram for fabric ideas.

We’re off for a coffee and walk later and then we’re going to make a veggie chilli for tea and I’m going to do some sewing- I’ve got some black paisley fabric and need to decide if I want to do a skirt or trousers with it.

Currently in hospital with DS (5yo) as he has been admitted for a chronic bowel condition he has. Today is day 3 and he managed to pull his NG tube out in his sleep last night so going to have fun getting that back in later 😩

We ended up going to a Historic House for the lambs, spring flowers, walk and a lovely homemade lunch and cake then on to another National Trust place for a walk yesterday, beautiful rainbows so having a more restful day today.

DH has gone out with friends to do piano things, and will be back for Sunday lunch.

DD came back from an all night party and then day with boyfriend so would imagine will be taking it easy today, just had a chat with her.

Floof has been awake since 4am and I put his cat nuts all over the upstairs floor and he is very impressed with my talents and did not realise I was capable of such brilliance. This bought me time to stay in bed until 8am for his tuna breakfast.

We have got an IKEA cabinet to finish the last bit of we may do but not sure. We could also go swimming but depends on timings.

It's a beautiful day here so I have the windows wide open. It's cold and I'm still in bed so have a cup of tea and my heated blanket over me. I'm hoping my husband brings me a sausage sandwich soon as I'm feeling peckish. I plan on making Bolognese for dinner tonight, and I've bought some shoe bags so I can sort all the boxes of shoes in the drawers under my bed. Then my husband will get the cases down from the loft so I can start packing mine and work out what I might still need for my up and coming holiday. My husband has been working away a lot so I'm taking advantage of the slow and lazy weekend when he's back!

Good morning, I have a rugby match today, so I need to set off soon as its about a two hour drive.

We always have pancakes for breakfast on sunday, our son decided he wanted to make them this morning, he did a really good job, but I think setting fire to the kitchen will be preferable to cleaning it.

My husbands taking the kids for a day out today, its clear I was 100% not listening when he was telling me about his plans, but I did say I would get their bags ready for it, so I need to do some child interrorgating to figure out exactly what they need. Oh, now I think about it it may be Fyrishov.

Morning lucysmam & everyone. In bed but getting up soon to pop to the weekend chemist. Need to check the spud situation as doing bangers & mash for tea. Potatoes never seem to keep very well, even in the special veg bag. I was going with DF to visit DM in hospital but not feeling the best. Hopefully she will be home tomorrow anyway. Determined to strip the kitchen table ( it still has a paper cloth & a holly runner on it from Christmas Day!) & use a wipeable cloth I bought ages ago. Will also sort our bedroom if I have the energy. It’s like a jumblesale! Last in the series of Call The Midwife tonight & we might watch Greys Anatomy.

I have that again but infected phlegm now too and keep hearing Return of the Mack in my head as it’s returned!
