Good Morning All! What's Everyone Doing Today?

I'm just about to drink my first cuppa, in my kitchen spot. I'm first up, as always, so it's nice and quiet sat here. The window's open a little bit so I can hear the birds in the gardens but I also have the heating on to warm me up a bit. I need to make sure dd1's up for her first shift at work soon, but for now I'm enjoying the peace.

We haven't got anything planned for the day, I don't think. Dd1's off to work until 6pm ish. Dd2 has a little bit of homework to finish so I'll see how she's getting on with that.

My plans are to follow yesterday's instructions from the dental surgeon at the hospital and relax. I'm about half way through adding beads to my Eras jacket so I'll carry on with that, then maybe get the beads out and make a few bracelets.

I forgot to get anything out to defrost for today's tea, last night, so will have a look in a minute and see what there is.

Early showers and early nights all round, ready for the coming week. Dd1 always showers quite late so I'll pick up my book, or crochet, until she's done.

Good morning, I've just come down from night two with gd and it was restless one 😴 she's got a runny nose so shrugging to breath and a cough that she just can't shake.

Today my DD's are off to their gps and I'm going to attempt to cook a roast.

Morning @lucysmam, glad the tooth extraction wasn't too bad.

I'm still in bed, DH has gone down to make a cup of tea and put the lamb in the oven. Have my dad coming for lunch today so it's roast lamb and then apple crumble.

Spent all day yesterday moving furniture, deep cleaning the living room and ordering some new side tables. Could do with a lazy day today but that's not going to happen!

Think it'll be cheese scones and sausage rolls for tea and a much earlier night for me than last night. Have a tricky week ahead that I'm not looking forward to so the more sleep I can get the better!

I got up earlier to feed the cats then some impromptu decluttering of textbooks. I will need to list them today. I also have several binbags of stuff to take to the charity shop.

No plans today but it’s a gorgeous blue sky I can see outside from my comfy position in bed 😂 dd2 is off to work in a bit so will just be dh, ds and me, would like to get out for a walk but ds resists all such exciting invites unless other, more fun people also come (cousins) so may do a ring round and see who’s about today.
Not sure what we’ve got for dinner, dh went to the butchers yesterday and has bought the meat for the week but he cooks so whatever he decides unless the rest of us have a specific fancy for anything.
Usual washing etc, did a couple of loads yesterday and will probably do a couple today aswell.

I’m eating toast with DS and enjoying the glorious sunshine that’s pouring through the windows. I slept terribly and it was my turn to get up with DS at 6 so I dozed next to him while he watched a film. I’ve just bought in the supermarket delivery and I’m wondering if it’s too soon for another coffee.

Not much planned today but I want to hoover, mop and clean the bathroom (how exciting). I’ve just reminded myself that uniform needs sorting as well. DH is going to cook a roast dinner and we’ll probably have an afternoon glass of red wine. I could really do with getting DS out for a run around and it feels rude to stay in when it’s so sunny, so we’ll pop out for a walk at some point. Have a lovely Sunday everyone!

My lovely carer is in later today so I've just had a tidy up before she comes. I've got to wrap up birthday presents for my sis's big birthday next week, clean out a cupboard because I've no idea what's in it anymore and then I'll find something to watch on TV. I'm tempted to make a cake but might as well just slap the ingredients on my arse instead as that's where they'll end up eventually!

I'm in bed, just had my tea and toast. I've had that horrible cold virus too and keep waking up early with a banging head, I'm not drinking enough throughout the day.

We may go a drive today, i couldn't be bothered yesterday but its looking drier and brighter today so we'll see.

No idea whats for dinner, i had cheese on toast last night, it was fab

Good morning everyone. Me and dh have been up for a few hours but haven’t really got our backsides into action yet - I’ve stripped the bed and put the covers in the washer and we’ve had breakfast but that’s it.

Today I’m going to stop procrastinating and actually scrub the house from top to bottom (I keep saying I’ll do it then just can’t be bothered). We’re going to spend the day getting organised for the week ahead - clean, iron, fill the car up, homework, etc.

Dd9 is feeling a bit under the weather, she’s had a cough for over a week and it seems to be getting worse and kept her awake last night so I also need to nip to a chemist and see if they can recommend anything for her.

Pasta and meatballs for tea then showers, a bit of tv and early nights all round.

That gin bottle was meant to be a smile!!

Good morning @lucysmam . I don't have anything at all planned for today, thank goodness!

I will probably do a bit of tidying up and some laundry... I may cook our evening meal but it's easy ( steamed bao buns with barbecued pork and lettuce) so I expect DH will do it. I may possibly get round to making a couple of cushion covers out of an old embroidered tablecloth, but I may not.

I love having a day with nothing planned - I tried to make an appointment to pick up my new specs tomorrow, but there is no option for that on the website (Boots opticians) so it looks as if tomorrow is free too. Bliss!

Morning all, I have no plans. Itching to go for a hike despite the cold. All my children need some new shoes, which is always a complicated, exasperating, long, drawn out process (and will indeed involve a bun and coffee despite being on a diet now)@Peanut91 sorry to hear that 💐

Good morning all.
Today's my day off but was still up early! I've stripped the beds and put the bedding in the washer, I've got a load on the line too.
It's a lovely sunny day here so will take dd to the park this afternoon for some fresh air with dp. We need to get packed lunch bits too.
I've given the house a hoover while dp and dd are walking the dogs.
Will probably look at wedding dresses too online, we're getting married next year so I'm in the wedding planning bubble

Been awake and downstairs since 8 but not yet dressed.

Second load of washing in machine and cushion covers bak on

I've had a couple coffees and been catching up with a show I watch when it's peaceful.

It's a beautiful day here so doors and windows will be opened for some fresh air.

Want to tidy the garden and wash the decking down today.
Did a mad indoor clean yesterday and just put the robo vac on to freshen up

Gosh you're all busy on a Sunday.
We are just about to head out for our Sunday drive and lunch.. might be coast.. might be country .. we look at weather map and decide between us.

had a lovely lie in with DH while the DDs watched the Hilda film downstairs. Then he made pancakes. Then I spent two solid hours cleaning DD1’s bedroom!
Had lunch, now doing laundry but will try to get out for a walk in a bit - nice day here.

Woke up with backache so me and youngster missed local outdoor volunteer morning, eldest and dad went.

Had a coffee, painkillers and a bath so can muddle through some light tasks (as gentle movement helps with backache I understand).

Will slowly prep cook roast this afternoon and read/talk homework/prep for week rest of the day. Gently and with more coffee and teas.

Late post, as we went out for brunch. Eggs Benedict for me, my favourite.

It's a lovely day here, but our land is still basically a swamp, and even a wheelbarrow leaves ruts, so not much gardening yet, apart from DH has two cherry trees to plant.

This afternoon, I am going to attempt to put together a set of low shelves.
It arrived in little pieces, with some pictures of what to do. May all the gods help me…
DH is doing laundry.

We are having chicken curry for dinner and then vegging out with our books.

Currently in hospital with my 98 year old mam while she gets a blood transfusion. Looking forward to going home for tea and toast when my sister comes in to take over.

Thanks for the well wishes. Still got a long road ahead of us but I swapped with my DH earlier and managed to go to my parents for a roast at lunch and have just gone home for a shower. Feeling a bit more human again. Now back to the hospital to try and persuade said 5yr old to have an enema 🙈

Just home from my half marathon. Beat my last time by 15 mins so am very pleased.
Exhausted so sofa for my for the rest of today.

Yesterday’s snow has virtually all melted, it was very icy first thing but then the sun came out and it was a lovely day.

DH walked the dog, I had a zoom art workshop nearly all day so I’ve done very little else!
Dog and I went for a walk early evening, the clouds were very pink as the sun set so hopefully good weather tomorrow?
