Just that really, name some famous people from your local area (sorry if it’s already been down before)

I’ll go first… Martin Compston is from the same town as us.

I forgot Kate Winslet and Michael Bond.

There are probably more, but that's the ones I know of.

Larkin was from Coventry. I believe he's buried in Cottingham, though.

Petula Clark, Michael Frayn and Michaela Stratton.

I’ve used an old username for this as it’s obvious but in my hometown:

The Radfords (one was in DS’s class in primary school).
Tyson Fury (I was behind him and Paris once in Asda, I’ve never felt so small!).
And a surprising number of famous people of important people in various fields went to DS’s high school.

Sadly, the only well known person near my current village is Nicola Bully (sad because of the circumstances not that there’s no one famous). Actually no, apparently there’s a famous actress who used to be in I think Coronation Street but I’ve no idea what her name is 😂.

I live very near Jane Mcdonald.

Oh you’re just along the coast from me! We have Karen Gillan. Tilda Swindon also lives in the next town and is often spotted around walking her dogs and supports lots of local charities, a lovely lady.

Conor McGregor. I live in crumlin in Dublin 12 where he grew up and just around the corner from his pub.

Oh yeah romesh ranganthan lives the town over from me. Where I live now.

We have a few people actually. But can never remember. Adele was here for a while. But she moved. I'm sure I will remember a few more later
