What size would you guess I am?

Just as the title says really. I've lost quite a bit of weight recently and felt I looked OK, but received a comment yesterday which suggests otherwise! I'm 5 foot 8 for reference.

I was between 10 and 12 but as you are tall I'm going to say 12. You look great and I don't know why anyone would be making comments implying your body was not looking ok.

You're tall, so I'd say 10 for tops and skirts, 12-14 for trousers, depending on style and store. You look fantastic, OP!

But someone who is tall is longer so often looks thinner or do you think a 5ft person who is size 10 looks the same as a 6ft person who is size 10?
