What is your house made or (or: what can you always find whatever room you're in)

Tidying up today it occurred to me, not for the first time, that it feels like there are as many of the following things as there are bricks in my house:

Books/CDs/dvds (DH)
Vape bottles/coils etc (DH, much to my irritation)

Marbles (ds... So many marbles, in every single bloody room)

Nose studs and earrings (me; I'm probably the worst offender - DH buys me an industrial set every 6 months or somand I've always lost nearly all of them before the next time)

Add to that cat fur (who thought white long haired cats were a good idea?!) And cat toys that seem to hide under every surface

What unintended hoards do you have in your house?

Mainly cats 😂

Lego. So much Lego. It’s in every room.

Books (DH), small plastic dinosaur figures and Lego (DS)

Hair bands. Black elastic hair bands. Everywhere. But none when you need to do your ponytail.

Hairbands and clips in every single room.
cat hair is a given even in the rooms they're not meant to be in.

I think it's a typo and should say "What is your House made of"

Hair pins and the tiny bands from the child's braided hair. Dog hair. Dog treats (she hides them). Socks. Never a pair- just random sodding socks.

Lego in my house and now 3d printing stuff, filament, printed things etc - my DS is very into making and building plastic stuff. Hair bands, brushes etc for DD. And books, I’ve always been a bookworm and could probably create a mini version of my house out of books.

Lipsalve. I can either find none or twenty in one place

So many books (me), CDs (DH) and dogs. DS is quite contained with his belongings but I've just been in his room and it's mainly built from discarded socks, empty vapes, empty water bottles and jars and jars of protein powder and vitamins.

Kirby grips and hair bobbles. Dh is forever finding them in his side of the bed(and yet whenever I actually need them there are none 🧐)
But actually other than that, there’s not much of anything lying about as I’m militant about keeping things tidy!

Scissors, a pair or more for every job.
But don’t touch my fabric shears.

Animal hair. Specifically black fur. Both cats and one dog. And half a horse (the black bits).

I also foster dogs and half heartedly/jokingly say no more black ones. <<stares hard at current one that is technically black and white but only seems to shed black>>

Cats and dolls and teddies and CDs and potatoes.

Woodlice 😳

Items of sportswear ranging from "BNWT" to "biohazard".

Nothing really, but that's only because I'm constantly returning bits to where they belong! The key for me is having actual homes for everything so it's easy to put them away.

I TRY to put things away, not down, but it doesn't always happen.

if I just left it, I'm guessing it would be mostly hair ties & paper (receipts, scribbles, notes, lists)

Dental floss and tweezers 😂.

Mmmm, nice potatoes. ( in various forms, so including crisps in this,lol)

Oh and paper, lots of pads and writing paper and books around.
