Also NW. We pay £47 per month (Family of 4).

MarnieMarnie · 21/02/2024 17:03

Mine is £550 this year, £450 last year so a massive increase. I'm with fucking thames water in the SW.

That's unmetered and just me.

BloodyAdultDC · 21/02/2024 17:11

No meter here. I asked for one but they couldn't find the pipe in my garden and it comes in a weird place in my kitchen that was too hard for them to put there either. I'm on a ' you want a meter but we can't fit one' tarrif, I pay £33ish a month. Yorkshire water.

FrogFairy · 21/02/2024 17:31

Single person household paying £47 per month.

Edited

Surely it would be better for you to have a meter?

FunLurker · 21/02/2024 17:36

SE, family of 5 no meter, £43. We've had a letter saying we will have to have a meter but hopefully not for several years, next door neighbours also family of 5 (younger kids) their on water meter and its about £78 a month. In the summer we throw hose over the fence for them to fill kids pools

Helplessandheartbroke · 21/02/2024 17:37

NW 3 people 52 a month!

Quornflakegirl · 21/02/2024 17:38

Family of 4, £406 per year. With Severn Trent.

whowhatwerewhy · 21/02/2024 19:26

£77 a month up from £66 last year . No meter in the midlands

CeeJay81 · 21/02/2024 19:33

£608 a year, (£70 plus a month). It's gone up about 17%!!, Hafren dyfrdwy. It annoys me that England pinch the water from lake vyrnwy but pay less than us for water bills.

Hatty65 · 21/02/2024 19:38

£73.28 a month. Anglian Water. It's gone up a lot each year.

Nw22 · 21/02/2024 19:43

£61 going up to £67. 2 adults kn 4 bed semi. Think will change to S meter

Gingerlygreen · 21/02/2024 19:43

I'm on a meter and pay £38 a month (Midlands)
3 adults + 2 children in the house plus I work from home as a dog groomer and bath around 20 dogs a week.

SgtJuneAckland · 21/02/2024 19:48

SE have to pay two different charges once for clean water once for sewage too two different companies
£29.07
£38.09
So £67.16 total per month over 12 months (I know some areas it's over ten months)

Haven't had the amounts for next year yet but likely to go up again.

Snozzlemaid · 21/02/2024 19:53

South West Water - £97 a month over 10 months.

4 adults in 3 bed house so calculator says we're best off not being metered.

Perihelion · 21/02/2024 20:01

£502 a year, for water and sewage for a band D property in Scotland. Paid as part of council tax.
The amount varies depending on property band. Think it's over £1k for band H

Mihijita · 21/02/2024 20:03

£50 a month me and DP - was £25 in 2019. Just had DD so sure it will rise again. In wales.

winnnine · 21/02/2024 20:08

£22 a month, not metered. Thames Water on the cheaper rate for disabled people as DS has a condition that requires bedding to be washed more regularly.

Usernamewassavedsuccessfully · 21/02/2024 20:13

Thames Water wrote to me a few months ago to tell me they were reducing my payments as I was in a lot of credit. Currently pay £5/month, I am on a meter.

TheDandyLion · 21/02/2024 20:16

£32pm not metered. 2 people.

DistingusedSocialCommentator · 21/02/2024 20:24

just under 380 for six months - I think its gone up by 30/40 qud for 6 months - 2 of us living here and we are careful with water but we both bath shower at lease once a day, washing machine 4 loads eat in and rarely out - have cars washed and don't need to water garden

We live in sunny London, greater rlondon

ErnestCelendine · 21/02/2024 20:24

66pcm (unmetered). We pay 2 companies in this area which is annoying. The calculator says a meter wouldn't make this any cheaper, but seems a lot.

muchalover · 21/02/2024 20:29

Around £100 a month. South West Water. Not metered but only 2 adults. SWW is an American company and we pay a lot because of the beaches.

Pearbear · 21/02/2024 20:30

I’m in the northwest and pay £23 a month for just me in a flat. Can’t have a meter due to the placement of the water pipes so am on a reduced rate.
