I have posted on pregnancy but looking for more of a virtual hug and I love the chat thread.

I’m 12 weeks pregnant tomorrow, but this afternoon I had some bloody discharge. It’s calmed down a bit but still there.

Havent got a scan til later in the week.

How do I carry on with things day to day and try to ā€œswitch offā€ from it all. I can’t help think the worse.

Bless you its awful the worst bit is not knowing. Handhold here. I've had 3 miscarriages, 2 were 'Missed' and had no symptoms but I just knew something wasn't right and couldn't shake the feeling. My first born child I poured with bright red blood from 7-17 weeks and shes now a happy healthy 4 year old. Thinking of you x

Oh and had massive clots too! I thought it was all over the fiest time so sat in the shower with some wine crying my eyes out only to find out she was fine, little tinker. I never had any pain though, they told me if I got pain it could be a bad sign but no cramps were generally good x

Sorry this is your result today OP, take care

Foxymoxy68 · 21/02/2024 12:07

This happened to me at 12 weeks-it was called a blighted ovum. 3 months later I was pregnant and my son is now 21.
Sending kind thoughts to you at this difficult time.

JDJT · 21/02/2024 12:16

I'm so sorry, OP.

Backtolife45 · 21/02/2024 13:02

Oh OP, my heart breaks for you and I know how tough it can be. I really do think people should be cautious when posting things like ā€œmy bleed ended up being a stroppy 17 year old or my bleed is now asleep in the next roomā€ i just find it so insensitive and grim.

Foxymoxy68 · 21/02/2024 13:17

What I also meant to say OP is don't give up hope. I was devastated when I miscarried and just thought I'd never have a successful pregnancy.
Maybe too early for you to think about this at the moment but there's every chance all will be well next time.

watermelonsugar56 · 21/02/2024 14:33
