I’ll start

Georgia Tennant. I don’t know why. Is it jealousy? I dunno 🤷‍♀️

And yes I know I’m being mean.

OP posts:

Myleene Klass - top of my hit list. Cannot stand her.
Mary Berry - hard as nails.
Caroline Quentin - I so wanted her to be like her character in Jonathan Creek! But she’s such a lovie.
Richie Anderson - makes me
cringe. So try hard.

aperolspritzbasicbitch · 19/02/2024 21:25

Stacey Solomon can piss right off.

Bit like Paul McCartney and Cilla Black. Had a lorra lorra luv for Liverpool but wouldn’t be seen dead living there. Twats.

Olly Murs. Dear Lord. Ludicrous talentless piece of shit who subbed his own brother’s wedding so he could brown nose on X Factor

Paul has been fantastic for charities and the arts in Liverpool. He has also lived in more rural areas (Scotland and Sussex). Ringo is the one who your comment applies most to, he said as much during an interview..."Peace and Love" my arse.

Hannah Gadsby. Unfunny, and fucking irritating.

Noo, what?? :(
I love her Netflix special Douglas, the whole thing is hilarious. And Nanette was powerful as well as funny. I've rewatched both multiple times. But each to their own I guess.

Beaverbridge · 19/02/2024 21:27

@Dymaxion Oh yeah forgot about David Jason. Unsavoury character.

Hughs · 19/02/2024 21:29

Victoria Coren
Olivia Coleman
Richard Osman
David Tennant
Benedict Cumberbatch

Bono
Kevin McCloud

Johnny Depp
Lily Allen

ThePoshUns · 19/02/2024 21:29

On BBC 1 Wales right now is a drama , written and directed by Micheal Sheen.
What a load of old shite.
Even genuine Welsh accents sound like someone is putting it on on TV

I love nana lol ....shes straight up, takes no bull, i like that

*Naga.

Same here. She's honest which is to be admired. I can't abide fakery.

BlueGlassOfDoom · 19/02/2024 21:33

Dan Walker - or, as he is known in this house, Dull Wanker.

He is the Unholy Trinity - thick, pompous and ubiquitous, and has ruined my weekday morning listening since he started ‘presenting’ the breakfast programme on Classic FM, which used to be a nice, undemanding start to the day.

IwishIdidntlikesugar · 19/02/2024 21:39

I quite like Olivia Coleman for her acting skills and didnt mind Lorraine Kelly on the telly but watching them on Graham Norton the other night with Jodie Foster made me rethink things. Olivia Coleman seemed too starstruck by Jodie Foster which was cringe and tedious after a while. Also liked Claudia in the Traitors but saw her on a game show on Friday night I think and found her a bit annoying.

Combattingthemoaners · 19/02/2024 21:47

Voowoo · 19/02/2024 18:32

Lorraine Kelly. She has a gooey centre of pure malevolence hidden inside a twinkly sugar shell.

Ant McDrug&drunkDriver

The godforsaken tedious bell also known as Eamonn Holmes. A revolting shudder in human form. His wife is also fairly harrowing, but he takes the overall biscuit.

Stacey blaring boring Dooley. She's like if an underdeveloped AI programme tried to form a below average presenter and printed it using a 3D printer.

Olly Mur-der me now so I don't have to look at him, hear him or know he exists. What is the defining feature of that man? I haven't spotted one.

Jess Glynn, for THAT FUCKING OMNIPOTENT SONG ABOUT HOLDING HANDS it's caused me dental issues from teeth grinding, that FUCKING advert (I think it's J.G who sings it?) Again, blaring.

I knew Schofield was a gutter snake before it became public knowledge; sneering, creepy beady eyed, self serving fake thing that he is. A core of shit to the man so rancid that it's finally visible to all. His "wife" should yeet him onto the moon, if she hasn't already. And his bezzy mate.. Who dropped him like a bag of cold dog sick as soon as she couldn't drag the "double act" on for another interminable year of giggling, dribbling deeply unfunny dickheadedness. Two twats for the price of less than one viable human between them.

~that was all a lot more spiteful that I anticipated~

🤣 thanks for the laugh!

hamsterswhiskers · 19/02/2024 21:49

Lucy Beaumont. Forced funny and anything but.

AutumnCrow · 19/02/2024 21:57

Everyone in and everything about Not Going Out especially that bloody Lucy character and the sainted Lee.

'Oh Lee, what are you like?'

'Oh Lucy, what am I like?'

'Oh Lee, I do love you really.'

'Oh no Lucy, I've done something slapstick that's quite derivative of Michael Crawford as Frank Spencer but with a supposedly clever twist of words so nobody notices.'

'Oh Lee, what are you like?'

Lwrenn · 19/02/2024 22:03

Didn't realise until this thread how many people really get on my tits.

Stephen Fry makes me queasy.
Katie piper is rude and judgey.
Someone that is loved and popular and he makes my fanny cringe - Joe Rogan 😬

Salaaaaaaaah · 19/02/2024 22:07

WetBandits · 19/02/2024 18:14

Taylor Swift!

Average music, irritating media presence and the adult ‘Swiftie’ cult is so fucking twee.

Have to concur.

It's her omnipresence over the past 12 to 18 months (due to her tour) that is unbearable for me. Phil Collins had this overexposed label in the 80s where he would seemingly pop up in everything - the difference for me though is that he is an immense talent who writes all his own stuff (no team of songwriters), many of the songs themselves are classics, and he could go into a studio and play every instrument and provide great vocals on his own album and produce it (which he did do). Her tour is well put together no question, but she is an extraordinarily average act.

Her taking a team of cameramen wherever there is a charity event is also galling (to be fair though this is endemic among US celebrities so it's not just her). Contrast this with George Michael who never uttered a word of what he did for people, stories which only came out after he died.

AffIt · 19/02/2024 17:04

Katherine Jenkins, the opera singer.

I have absolutely no idea why - I'm sure she's a perfectly lovely person who rescues old ladies and helps stray kittens cross the road etc - but something about her makes me grind my teeth.

She gives Frank Skinner the heeby jeebies, too.
He calls her Lucifer's Representative on Earth.

GoodHeavens99 · 19/02/2024 22:13

cardibach · 19/02/2024 17:12

You’re all going to hate me…
Miriam Margolyes.
She just thinks she’s so alternative and hilarious because she’s a sweary lesbian. Nobody cares, love. Or at least I don’t.

I don't like MM either.

Her schtick is now wearing very thin.

TheTwirlyPoos · 19/02/2024 22:17

Miriam margoyles - repellant
Katherine Jenkins - just so fucking pleased with herself
Lily James - FUCK OFF.

I'm sure there are more!

Notchangingnameagain · 19/02/2024 20:54

I agree with everyone’s posts, with the exception of Katie Piper & Harry Styles

Same. Love Harry and not sure how anyone can dislike Katie after what she’s been through.

lovelychops · 19/02/2024 22:20

That couple who do the podcast. Is it called shagged, married and annoyed or something?

Louise295 · 19/02/2024 22:21

Stacy Solomon and Mrs hinch

BeaRF75 · 19/02/2024 22:21

I totally agree with Terry Wogan and the faux modesty. A friend of mine worked with him and said he never listened to anyone.

makeupme · 19/02/2024 22:23

Michael Mackintyre (or however you spell it)
The entire cast of Silent Witness at the moment.

Tonkerbea · 19/02/2024 22:23

"carved from ominous ham" wins the thread. Sums DW up perfectly.

I was thinking noone really irks me, then read Sheridan Smith, and I remembered I actively avoid anything she's in as she makes me so ragey. I think it's because she reminds me of someone I know in IRL, and not because she's a horrible person or anything.

Only tonight my mum and husband were saying how much they loved him, l always thought he was a smarmy prick.
