The bigger challenge for some of us will be to find a suitable, non gushing card where the words aren’t hypocritical or just untrue. That will take me a good few shop visits.

I recommend Moonpig for this. Lots of simple options that are blank inside for your own message.

Well I'm organised for world book day this year for dc2 but Mother's Day? Nope, didn't even think about it!

I don't see my mum for Mother's Day (lives far away) so not really a thing will send her a card a week before but that's it.

I was enjoying this thread as same I don't even think about Mother's Day and this year it coincides with an important relatives birthday so that trumps everything but this has reminded me WBD is just around the corner. Aarggh - I am going to have to think about this one unfortunately - I won't say this has ruined my Sunday evening (but it's close)

I don’t normally say this, but given your reply to a poster early in this thread OP: At least your mum is alive.

@Sunshineandpinkclouds do your DC have a dressing up box? We just find something that fits DS and think of a character to fit.
