Currently sat on the sofa thinking about getting ready. Have to leave in about an hour as my friend and I are taking the kids to weston super mare for a firework display. We were meant to go for bonfire night but it was cancelled.

Been around to sign for our new allotment and spent some time planning it out , back tomorrow to spread some horse muck on it

just heading for a nap now as not feeling too great - probably hypomagnesia again !

Going to watch a film and get a takeaway tonight I think nice and chilled

We’ve had a day at home today with DD3 after a busy week at work/nursery.

DD currently watching Zog, DH has gone to the shops to get bits including a pork joint for tea and a treat tub of icecream.

might clean the bathroom so I feel productive.

No DC for few hours. DH has taken them out for the day. I’ve had a long soak in the bath, a lovely lunch and now binge watching some tv.

Raced this morning, came 8th in my age category so really pleased, especially as I sprained my ankle quite badly 6 weeks ago so we haven’t been able to run much at all really in the lead-up. Me and my dog are now zonked (we canicross). Got a new hoover delivered, listed the old on on Facebook and hopefully someone will be collecting it later on, if they show up. DS is building Lego, DH and I have our feet up, and all is right with the world except I’m still hungry after lunch 🤔

Planted some corms and seeds, been for a swim. Sorted out tablets for the next two weeks. Collapsed in the lounge now and doubt I will do anything else!

I am watching DS is skateboard in the garden although it is just starting to rain. If he comes in I will go and do the ironing (so rock n roll!)

DH is listening to the football on the radio.

Boring and cold

I want to go out somewhree but its cold and I want to wear a nice new jacket but its going to rain so that will get wet.

Just miserable really

Met friends for a dog walk this morning, DH has loaded the car for a tip run tomorrow, I've cleaned the fridge out and now doing the ironing will potter about cleaning and dancing to the radio for most the afternoon and then chill this evening with a curry and a film.
Probably a little more exciting tomorrow when I know the house is ready for another week!!
(No DC this weekend)

Picked my dd up and took her to work, tidied the house, took my son to the driving range then we went a wander round the garden centre and took him to get freeze dried sweets. Just home for a cup of tea then going to see my brother and his family for an hour then will have a night chilling with a take away.

Had a great day, got up early as spring is in the air and went to gather food in the village, then cooked sausage baps. Next up fed the birds, had a chat to some passing friends and then spent the last 4 hours cutting back brambles and ringing ivy on some of the trees whilst listening to my audio book.

Now having a well earned G&T watching DP clean out the barbecue so we can have one of my favourite treats, ribeyes and prawns, for dinner.

Going to sleep like a log tonight but it was great to be out in the fresh air after a few months of hibernating.

The sun is out here so we’ve been hiking, really refreshing followed by a pub lunch.

We haven’t long got back home, I’m having a soak in the bath whilst the kids and DH does some crafts. Plan is to make pizza tonight and DC get to pick the movie.

Currently sat on the sofa pondering whether to get up and have another cup of tea. This morning I went to pick up our weddings rings (!!!) then went and had a quick look in Next Next at suits for DC but none were doing it for me. We had a quick look in Waterstones then went onto eldests swimming lesson where he finally did a successful underwater roly poly hurrah!

Then we went to Sainsbury’s for some bits including the big tub of Cadbury yoghurt and a bag of M&Ms, tonight we are going to have them together with some tortilla
chips and dip and watch a film.

After Sainsbury’s we went to the library to return some
books and pick up some more - there was a kid there who quite clearly had conjunctivitis so we didn’t stay too long…

When we got home I made the DC lunch, our youngest down for a nap while I had my own and made a Katsu curry for tea later. DS2 will be up any minute, I’ve prepared him a snack and will probably get the Aqua doodle out and read his new library books. Eldest playing football outside.

A nice day productive day really so far.

Had friends round this morning to meet our newborn which was lovely 🫶🏼 This afternoon we have relaxed on the sofa with some movies and treats whilst I've soaked up baby snuggles.

Tonight we have meat from the butcher so will make something with that and enjoy some wine.

Been bleaching the hell out of the house this morning as dd was vomiting all night. I then popped to Tesco to get her some ginger tea, ginger biscuits and rich tea biccies as that is all she fancies atm.

Ds has gone out fishing in the hope of dodging whatever it is Dsis has and has just declared he’s staying for some night fishing and sleeping in his car so I’ve just dug out his sleeping bag for him to come and collect.

DH has just walked the dog and now we are sitting on the sofa and I’m contemplating an afternoon snooze as I didn’t sleep a wink last night.

Not the Saturday we’d planned as we had booked a nice family meal tonight so god knows what’s for dinner.

very quiet I went to town this morning to pick something up, mooched about the house for a bit and now I'm napping/scrolling on my phone.

DS's best friend is visiting his grandparents across the street for half term so they've been playing together all day, currently in my house playing switch sports. DD has slept half the day, got up to watch an episode of His Dark Materials with me and has gone back to her room again.

I cleaned the house this morning as soon as I woke up, partner has done the snow work, a lot of wet heavy snow today so had to get the snow plough out rather than just shovel it. I'm cooking dinner now, chicken and fried rice, will send DS's friend back over to his grandparents once food is ready as he never wants to eat here.

Going to watch the Lego film with DS tonight as he has never seen it but is currently really into Lego stuff.

Love these threads..Well l didn't sleep well last night.. pain insomnia.
My nephews brought my new laminate flooring from Costco for me.
Just to get it fitted now.
Lost my cat for half hour.. still don't know where he was.. but he wondered into the bedroom from who knows where( l looked all round the house).
We are both currently laid on bed.. him asleep..me trying not to nap.
Going out for a meal tonight with sister. Tomorrow a 2 hour drive to The Dale's to visit eldest sister and brother in law for Sunday dinner and a game of cards.

I was awake early so Asda before 9, ds and I went to gym straight after then got home and DH wanted to tackle our conservatory/garage rearrangement before a major house rebuild. We've sorted, cleaned, thrown away and moved appliances. I feel I earned my wine tonight!

Had a lie-in, did a food shop, made a treacle tart for pudding later and put a couple of loads of laundry on. Thats about it. Was going to go to yoga, but feeling under the weather.

Now going to have a nap and then make a lasagne for dinner. Then bath, film, bed.

Had a lie in, done 3 loads of washing, mopped and hoovered, cleaned the bathroom. DH is watching the football and the DCs are playing Roblox on their ipads, actually getting along for once!

Going to get showered and ready shortly to try and make myself presentable as i'm going out tonight for drinks and a catch up with some friends. DH can sort dinner im having a night off 😁

Not great,I'm torn between cleaning the shower room or taking a sledgehammer to it.

I’ve ground to a halt after putting everything back into the airing cupboard and landing cupboard, cleaned the bathroom and toilet, done three loads of washing, made spicy squash soup for lunch, put away the washing, laid the wood burner ready to light, filled the log basket and vacuumed throughout the house.
DH has walked the dog.
That’s it now 😊

Im exhausted reading some of this, dont know how people find the time or energy for it all

Quite boring!

I worked all morning on a project I am being paid peanuts for, but it is such a lovely project I put the hours in because it was fun.

Coming down with a cold so had a long bath and am now in bed, reading and on here. Haven't been outside at all or exercised all day, because of feeling ill.

DH is making steak and chips for dinner, though, and was talking about opening a bottle of red wine, so that might perk up.

it'll definitely be a night in, though.
