Dulux - tranquil dawn

Has anyone used this colour? Care to share any pictures? Would be good to see it in a room or hall rather than a little swatch on my wall

it's looks greeny-grey on our walls

We do, I love it. we have it in a dual aspect room and it is very different in different lights. Everyone comments on what a calming colour it is. I'm at work, will post a photo later.

We did the RSJ and coving in something fawn, possibly gentle fawn. It works really well.

@idontlikealdi we must have similar tastes as we have gentle fawn in another room.

It was a bit gloomy in our hall when tested... Not much light and north facing too.... Nice where theres natural light though worked well in oir south facing bathroom.
We ended up with more yellow toned/paler green. ...Cooking apple by f&b as wanted a green .. anything with a blue or grey tint just didn't work.. my other option were pinkish or yellow ish

It’s on one wall in our kitchen, which faces south. It’s a very calm colour, a pale sage green on our wall.

It’s way more green than grey in our room on a brighter day

These colours with greyish chalky tones are very difficult to tell from a tester and do vary a lot in the room. I haven't tried this one but my hallway seems to make everything look battleship grey.

We have it in our bedroomm it's really nice. Looks pale sage in our East facing room

Have a look hardwick white by farrow and ball.

I bought this for my hallway and haven't used it as when I put a patch up it looked more like duck egg blue which is not what I want at all

We have it all through our lounge/diner, hall, stairs and landing. It’s a very calming shade. It looks lighter in my house than some of the pictures shared by others.

We have it in a north facing bedroom. Lovely relaxing shade.

I went for this in my bedroom, it’s a b and w dupe of Dulux Fresh sage and it is always complimented upon,

I painted a large south facing bedroom in Tranquil Dawn and it’s really lovely. I liked it so much that I considered using it in other rooms or a hallway as well but on dark days it definitely looks greyer so that wouldn’t suit me.

This is the exact colour I love! But the tranquil dawn just doesn’t look like that on my wall

Ours was on fresh plaster with whitewash so not sure if that makes a difference. It’s so airy and fresh. We have some pebble shore with it too.

have you tried crown mellow sage?

No I’ve not heard of that I’ll have a look thank you!

Bookmarking because I love this shade and want to put it on my south facing bathroom. Can I get it in a bathroom paint? It gets steamy, even with a window and extractor fan.

I have this on our feature wall in the lounge and I wish we’d just done the whole room! I would say that for us it looks a grey green most of the time rather than sage. Love it though.
