I actually love this house. A couple of unusually decorated rooms but I still like it. Only pic 15 doesn’t fit the rest

ScrambledSmegs · 09/02/2024 21:25

I quite like the orange bathroom with cork on the walls. Reminds me of my childhood home!

BreakfastAtMimis · 09/02/2024 21:32

I actually love the crazy curvy shelves above the sideboard! And the whole light, plant-filled vibe of that room in general. The rest of it though...

GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 09/02/2024 21:35

Is that a load of sheepskins above the patio doors?!

twobluechickens · 09/02/2024 21:36

I love the kitchen and the orange bathroom - right up my street. It's got character but doesn't have that self-conscious cool feeling that a lot of interior designed places have. That's just someone's home in their own taste and I think we'd get on well 😁

43ontherocksporfavor · 09/02/2024 21:37

I really like this house, it’s so interesting. What’s with the sheepskin pelmet in the kitchen/ dining room?

Lovemusic82 · 09/02/2024 21:38

I love it. After having no heating for a month and sitting in my cold living room I am now contemplating carpeting the walls, it looks very warm 😬

RedToothBrush · 09/02/2024 21:40

NoWordForFluffy · 09/02/2024 21:15

How do you stick carpet to the wall?!

I'm glad someone asked that cos that was the question in my mind

soundsys · 09/02/2024 21:44

To keep our drafts maybe?

soundsys · 09/02/2024 21:45

I actually love it and have a new ambition to carpet a room like that, walls and all. Think how snug you'd feel inside!

soundsys · 09/02/2024 21:45

Draughts! To keep out draughts! (Not our drafts 😩)

Floatinginvacherin · 09/02/2024 22:20

I adore this house and wish to buy it.

usernother · 09/02/2024 22:34

The photographer loves that kitchen. The price for a house that size is ridiculous.

Jessbow · 09/02/2024 22:50

how do you get into bedroom 3?

OliveHenry · 09/02/2024 22:55

I could live with the inside (once the dead sheep pelmet was removed!) but the outside is so dull! No kerb appeal at all.

Saz12 · 09/02/2024 23:24

When I was too young to know better, I always imagined a flat being called a "shag pad" involved shag carpet on the walls (old fashioned even then). Ha! Turns out someone else misinterpreted the term, too!

Same

I never knew I wanted carpeted walls until now

BigFatCat2024 · 10/02/2024 00:44

Stroke the furry wall....

LaDernièreChanson · 10/02/2024 00:52

I actually really love this! Bet the owners throw a cracking party too. Although it's got a 'car keys in the bowl' vibe going on.

Isanyonereallyanonymous · 10/02/2024 01:00

Bits of this I really love, other bits are bizarre! Dragon taps maybe in the bathroom? And very renaissance drapes? Not for me, but that snug with the wavy wall shelves, parquet flooring and retro sofa is just amazing 😍 but mostly it seems really cheap for a 5 bed in Marlow

Greensleevevssnotnose · 10/02/2024 01:05

BigDogEnergy · 09/02/2024 21:19

I'm not sure about the carpeted walls, but other than that I quite like it, especially all the plants. This perspective on picture 4 hurts my brain though

No more nails quoted wrong post sorry

WhichIsItWendy · 10/02/2024 01:17

I love this house! Personally I think they've got a great unique style. The house also feels really homey and comfy. My kids would love the carpeted walls!

Mumblechum0 · 10/02/2024 01:17

It is very cheap for Marlow. Parking on that road is a nightmare but it seems to have a bit of a drive.

MissRheingold · 10/02/2024 01:27

Hideous busy decor. Those shelves are particularly horrendous.

Ponderingwindow · 10/02/2024 01:28

Not my style, but it’s well done for the people who chose it.

i could see myself moving into that house. That utility room!!!
