Celebrities you don’t like but don’t really know why.

I don’t like David Tennant, can’t put my finger on why he just seems a bit creepy. I’m sure he’s not I just don’t like him.

It is okay not to like it, but if someone thinks someone is ugly, talentless, has unsavoury tendancies or anything else they think that's okay too. People say things like that in public, down the pub, in the coffee shop and at work all the time. How is it different online?

I can’t take to whatsername. Quiet place. Emily Blunt! That’s her. I always watch her on chat shows and feel like I SHOULD like her. So why don’t I? Odd.

I love Martin Freeman as an actor but i don’t like him on chat shows/interviews.

Rebel Wilson. Not as funny as she thinks she is.

Lucy Worsley makes everything about Lucy Worsley.

And all that dressing up in historic costumes has got boring now.

I know Claudia Winkelman and she is absolutely lovely. Charming, modest, funny, and very clever. So it’s hard to imagine anyone not liking her.

I cannot bear many of the people mentioned.

Primarily, Lily James (such a fucking big head), Michelle Keegan (plastic, talentless), and Rita Ora (pointless)

Worst men would be Matt Lucas (creepy vibes), Eammon Holmes (tax evader), and Trevor McDonald (no idea why)

I’m sure Winkleman is lovely and fun in real life @PrueRamsay , it’s just her “light entertainment” overplayed goofiness that grates.

@HelloStarlings I think that's an interesting point. It seems like presenters have to have a 'thing' to be allowed on telly and their upbeat personas are just quite awful to watch. Being natural isn't a thing, I guess.

@Fluffywhitecloudsinthesky yes that’s could be it. I’m not a fan of light entertainment these days. I liked some of the older style presenters eg Bruce Forsyth because in a way he was playing himself i.e. a comedian!

Andrew Scott. Smarmy little man. Didn’t like him anyway but a friend worked on a tv show he was in and said he was awful to the crew so guess I was right!!

And in fact @Fluffywhitecloudsintheskyyou could say that about a lot of TV “personalities” eg like Lorraine Kelly to some extent. In fact - trivial information - I remember there was an article in a newspaper a while ago about her getting some questionable tax break because she wasn’t reporting to the taxman as working as Lorraine Kelly; instead she was playing a part or personality called Lorraine Kelley 🥹! So ….. none of it is real … in the twilight zone …… 😲

I'm not sure why but I love that about her! I usually hate clever women pretending to be dumb, but I think she just plays scatty person but doesn't hide her brains.

Some relatives of ours went on The Generation Game in 1980 or so and he was absolutely awful. He shouted at the contestants to be professional, made them do things again, loads of takes etc.

It was supposed to be bloody spontaneous.
