Please help settle an argument (I won't say which side I'm on).
On a tube platform, this has been left next to the seats.... woukd you take and eat the half- opened packet of custard cremes? ( not just any CC - marks and Spencer CC!)

No, you have no idea what grubby fingers have been on and in the packet. I love a custard cream, but I've never been desperate for one.

I wouldn't.
They may be claimed by someone who hasn't eaten for ages and knows proper hunger - that would be a happy ending (as long as it isn't part of a spy plot and laced with fatal chemicals).

No way - for the same reason I wouldn't buy an open packet of anything that's supposed to be sealed in the supermarket- you don't know what someone might have done to it.

Also, it could be a trap where you end up on TikTok...

If you want custard creams then get some from the shop, they’re only about 50p.
