Foods you would love to return

Some discontinued stuff I would love to return:

1.) Ham and cheese mini Cheddars

2.) Jaffa cakes with the lime filling

3.) And most of all Birds hot crunch pudding (banana for preference)

Anything you really miss? Food that were part of your childhood....

Really?! I hadn't realised. Tend to just buy the Lidl version!

The original mint Club biscuits with the thick dark chocolate coating. Dark choc Bounty bars with the red wrapper.

My late grandmother’s doughnuts, with the saffron colouring, vanilla flavour, lemon water icing and a generous dollop of damson jam inside. They’re a Polish speciality and no one ever made them like her.

Sara Lee Double Chocolate Gateau. I still dream about this at least once a month. Can’t find anything that tastes just as good as it did.

Also Penguin in the dark bars. I really miss those.

Walker's did Cheese flavoured crisps a few years ago & not for very long. In yellow packets. Best crisps ever. Cheese n onion taste of too much!

Cheese and tomato pot noodle I was gutted when they were discontinued - I used to have one every Saturday afternoon after mum had done the weekly shop.

Amazin' Raisin bars.

M&S chicken tikka sandwiches with a mint yoghurt dressing on malted granary bread. Sandwiches are my favourite food and those were the best sandwiches EVER. Every now and then I scan the shelves in M&S in the vain hope they've been reinstated.

Lilt is still available - they’ve just incorporated it into the Fanta range.

Toffee crunch. It was sublime. Lying on my bed, reading a Laura Ingalls Wilder book and working my way through a quarter of toffee crunch was my very favourite way to pass a rainy Saturday afternoon when I was a child.

Mingles,

Start cereal,
Hint of lime doritos

Fry’s Five Centres. I loved those. Although I do get the horrible feeling that it’s pure nostalgia and, if I tried one again, all five centres would taste exactly the same 😁

Wispa Mint. I’m really surprised they haven’t brought that back, at least as a special edition, given that original Wispa and Wispa Gold are so popular, and they’ve done special editions.

Prawn shell crisps from M&S. gutted they've disappeared, they were a hallmark of my childhood.

I know I could make them but I don't. Use to be in every 80s/early 90s dessert menu.
