Some discontinued stuff I would love to return:

1.) Ham and cheese mini Cheddars

2.) Jaffa cakes with the lime filling

3.) And most of all Birds hot crunch pudding (banana for preference)

Anything you really miss? Food that were part of your childhood....

Mingles. The mint chocolate selection in a sort of celebrations/heroes type box. I bloody loved them.

Lovelydovey · 08/02/2024 20:15

Rather niche but Tesco finest goats cheese and chilli jam crisps. They were my reward for completing the weekly shop and absolutely divine.

Spira, secret chocolate bar and Lyons cup cakes.

Were Lyons cup cakes the ones with the slab of icing on top?

So many on this thread I agree with and miss.

Spira and 3D Doritos.

Backinthedress · 08/02/2024 20:27

Mingles. A whole box of different sorts of minty chocolates. Nom.

chattyness · 08/02/2024 20:28

Cabana bars
Coffee walnut whip
Horlicks tablets but in their original form, not the new ones released before Christmas they're just not the same, they're too thick and the flavour is weak.
Coffee creme quality street I know they were available in John Lewis but I don't live near one.
Caramel cookies can anyone remember these? I've not seen them since kwiksave closed they were cheap & delish!
Bistro bakes cod and prawn crowns
Bar Six chocolate bars
Red Sky Crisps
Lime Angel Delight

Pacers. They were the mint version of an opal fruit. They just vanished - albeit many, many years ago... I remember exactly what they tasted like. They were green and pale green striped. Does anyone else remember them?

i remember them and their strange chewiness

ElevenSeven · 08/02/2024 20:32

I used to really like the Heinz toast toppers little pink can of ham n cheese mush to spread on hot toast …
It used to be my hangover food in my early twenties 😆

You did put it under the grill after you spread it , didn’t you?

notprincehamlet · 08/02/2024 20:33

Good Life nut burgers - best.veggie.burger.ever.
Also non-rotten potatoes.

Snugglemonkey · 08/02/2024 20:34

Brannigan's crisps. I loved them.

Also Drifters

I did not know youcanmot get toast toppers any more. That is quite sad. I used to split a tin of bacon and mushroom with my brother for dinner.

M&S so lemon and lime Jaffa cakes that are lovely.

BobnLen · 08/02/2024 20:37

Instant Whip, we had this instead of Angel Delight sometimes
Lyons individual fruit pies, I had these as a treat on school trips in the 60s, like a Mr Kipling pie but bigger and nicer, I recall apricot ones.

almondflake · 08/02/2024 20:37

I miss mint cracknel, original victory v's , bar six , tropical quash that was such a gorgeous green colour , golden nuggets cereal and so many other delicious things 😊

FoxSticks · 08/02/2024 20:38

Bovril crisps. Why don't they bring them back??

Velvethoneydew · 08/02/2024 20:40

Spira's and the really sticky chocolate spread you used to get back in the 1980's before they made it all smooth and spreadable!

FijiSea · 08/02/2024 20:40

Lurkingandlearning · 08/02/2024 20:33

Yes 🤣

VincentVanGoth · 08/02/2024 20:42

Mushroom toast toppers for me. Cooked to the point of almost burning.

little sweets called mojos. They were sold in big mixed flavour bags but my local corner shop used to open them out into the Penny sweet section so you could choose your flavour. Always mint for me!

5p woppa bars - bit like wham bars but cola flavour

sure I’m not making this up but no one I’ve asked remembers - there were these cheese crisps, bit like quavers but all the same shape and a bit denser in texture. They came in huge packs

FijiSea · 08/02/2024 20:43

Just thought of another cheesy snack - Cheese Moments , they were crisps you bought in pubs , they had them on a cardboard board , they pulled them off to serve them.
Delicious cheesy filled parcel crisps
Do these still exist ?

Dreamer2027 · 08/02/2024 20:44

@PlacidPenelope yes the lyons cupcakes had the icing on top

DuchessOfSausage · 08/02/2024 20:44
