Just for fun, if you collect anything as a hobby, what do you collect?

Colourful glass marbles 😊
Do you collect anything?

I'm a bit of a plonker partial to a conker.

charabang · 01/02/2024 01:01

I have collected Ladybird books and jigsaws in the past and vintage china but am now in the process of collecting a certain Denby range. Can't say the name as I am convinced people will fall in love with it and the price will go up. I think it's fun to always have something on the go to look out for.

Danikm151 · 01/02/2024 01:03

Shot glasses from places I’ve visited.

now that I’m a mom, the shot glasses are in the breadbin but they used to be on display

Camping gear, so much camping gear!! Can't resist it. I'm never really going to bring a few oil lamps camping but I keep looking to buy more, I've numerous tents, cookers, sleepingbags, sims, etc. Love wild camping which means bringing the minimum which totally goes against my love of gathering the stuff but at least we're not stuck during a power cut and neither are the neighbours.

Lotcana cards, Disney blu rays with o ring sleeves, Pixar steel books, special Harry Potter illustrated books, used to collect Mr Men cups but they don't make them anymore! x

Earrings, brooches/badges, flutes, music - sheet and prerecorded, books, recorders, cats, outdoor plants, yarn, yarn patterns, crochet hooks, knitting needles, canal
plaques. Potentially footwear and handbags.
think I might have a bit of a butterfly personality.

Ex-animal bits. Mostly feathers, a few bones, fossils, corals. (All from legal/historic sources.) I've been told they make the loo look creepy Grin

(I don't feel 2 cats is a collection... yet)

Tarkan · 01/02/2024 02:02

Rubber ducks. My bathroom is full of them. Last count was around 70+ and I bought another two last week.

HerRoyalNotness · 01/02/2024 02:10

Jingleeaster · 01/02/2024 04:31

Books. I have a wide range. My favourite are antiquarian, but I can only afford really damaged ones of those, so mainly 20th c onwards.

HeraSyndulla · 01/02/2024 04:47

Things from the 1930’s and 1940’s. I have quite a collection now, everything from period clothes to a full kitchen, rescued from a house that was being “ modernised “. My family think I am stark raving mad of course.

Ladyof2022 · 01/02/2024 05:09

Enemies.

AceofPentacles · 01/02/2024 05:45

Tarot decks that are created and published by individuals all over the world. My own mini art collection

RootVegAndMash · 01/02/2024 06:55

Fridge magnets. Although not just me, dh and I do it jointly. We have quite a collection, we get one on any holiday or visit.

Can't remember how it started but we could never visit somewhere now and NOT get one!
