It’sa similar malfunction to the one that causes him to endlessly repeat the 5 pledges regardless of what question is asked.

They would have been briefed in advance that Esther Ghey's mother was going to be in attendance.

I hope that any politician's children are able to have fairly normal lives , but I guess it has its challenges. I would imagine that the PMs children attend a private school, which might lessen the risk of too much bullying a bit, but you can't wrap them in cotton wool from life and different opinions and others must know who their dad is etc.
I agree that the TV debates pre the general election are going to be awful ( as the others were ) just point scoring and grinding teeth and slagging off each other.
