Now there is one asking why threads about the case are being deleted. The poor moderators must be tearing their hair out.

I read the first thread late last night. There are some very valid questions that should be asked but that shouldn't be used as cover for racism.

The thread asking why the previous thread was deleted seems faux naive and an excuse for the same sort of nonsense.

Often the initial question is fine on the first thread. But neither the OP nor HQ can really control what happens next. It’s been the same on here forever. Eventually HQ have to delete so many posts it’s not worth keeping the thread up.

So, "The Backlog" is only cases pre-July-2022. Any undecided are a "legacy backlog". They've gone into "The Caseload": 94,000 people waiting for an asylum decision, which isn't "a backlog" but "a queue".
