Counted ours yesterday - we have 11. How many do you have including any gas-heated towel rails?

7 in a 3 bed end terrace.

KThnxBye · 21/01/2024 11:33

10 in a four bed house. We have two rooms with no radiators come to think of is and none in any of the halls or landing areas.

WingBingo · 21/01/2024 11:33

14!

I’ve recently moved from a house with no central heating to one with. I got a bit carried away with warmth whenever I wanted it.

then I got the first bill!

So no I have turned quite a few down / off.

Viewfrommyhouse · 21/01/2024 11:33

2 downstairs (boot room and wet room, the other rooms all have UFH).
One in each bedroom upstairs (5), 1 in the family bathroom plus 1 heated towel rail, then just 1 heated towel rail in our ensuite.

So, 10 altogether.

mynameiscalypso · 21/01/2024 11:35

9 I think. Plus three heated towel rails which are connected to the heating (but are crap). Three bed house but with an open plan/double height living space so it gets quite chilly.

Minniemouse85 · 21/01/2024 11:36

9 in a 3 bed semi.

Crooklodge · 21/01/2024 11:37

4 bed house, bathroom, ensuite & airing cupboard (combi => no hot water tank but house was built with airing cupboard with small rad).
2 in lounge, playroom, dining room, kitchen, hallway & downstairs loo.

Clumsyandheavy · 21/01/2024 11:41

8 and a towel rail one. 3bed semi.

Flippinec · 21/01/2024 11:42

Surely this will depend entirely on the size of the house and any other heating systems in place?

I have 19, central heating is oil not gas as we are not on mains gas

Stickthatupyourdojo · 21/01/2024 11:43

14 in a 4 bed.

FruitBowlCrazy · 21/01/2024 11:43

We have 6, plus a 7th miniscule one in the airing cupboard, which is currently disconnected.

SparePartz · 21/01/2024 11:46

None. Top floor flat with underfloor heating.

CandyCaneLane0 · 21/01/2024 11:48

9 in a 2 bed house

MandyMotherOfBrian · 21/01/2024 11:49

18 - which meant we needed the next size up boiler when we had a new one put in last year. Only BG didn’t realise and they had to provide it for the lower quote they had given us as their policy is they never change price no matter what goes wrong once they’re on site. We got a brand new large boiler, new tank, LOTS of repiping all for £4k. They were not happy.

HappyMe6 · 21/01/2024 11:49

Four bed detatched 12

HappyMe6 · 21/01/2024 11:50

Floralnomad · 21/01/2024 11:51

13 in a 4 bed

JollyMollyPolly · 21/01/2024 11:52

Recently extended to a 5-bed, we've got 20! Only a 15Kw boiler though.

Hall84 · 21/01/2024 11:54

12 but there isn't one in the kitchen or downstairs loo so will likely be adding 1 when the kitchen gets done. Semi

Circlingthesun · 21/01/2024 11:56

8 in 3 bed semi

Flamesatmytoes · 21/01/2024 11:56
