How many radiators do you have?

Counted ours yesterday - we have 11. How many do you have including any gas-heated towel rails?

9 in a 4 bed 1890s townhouse, including one towel rail in my en-suite, perfectly adequate. But I have a lovely fire now as well. Just moved from a 3 bed new build townhouse that had a staggering 15! None of the top floor ones were ever on, and I had all the hall / landing ones off as well as the downstairs loo and kitchen. Although now I come to think of it, lots of them did not have a thermostat, the heating was in two zones and I just set it so the top half of the system never triggered. You could probably have removed half of them and never noticed a difference as it was very well insulated.

5 - one each in the living room, kitchen, hall and bathroom then two in my bedroom.

19, that’s 18 radiators, 1 towel rail. Plus two underfloor heated bathrooms.

13 including one in the loft and two which are combi rad and towel rail. But that doesn't cover the open plan kitchen, living, dining and one downstairs bed which are wet underfloor heating.

Exactly the same as you @Flippinec , 19 in an oil-fuelled house, not on mains gas

How does the boiler cope with so many radiators?

I was talking to a friend who recently had a new CH system put in and he told me how many he has. So I wondered how many we have (I had never counted them) and suddenly got curious about how many radiators people have. Just that, really.

You need to know the square footage of the house too.
We have 21 ( I think)

Surely size of radiator & house size matters? My in laws have huge radiators in their rooms whereas I've been into peoples house who have 2 small ones in a room.

Six in a two bed terrace, including a heated towel rail.

20 rads : we have two gas fired boilers in our utility room doing half the house each

28 - large five bed oil heating with two wood burners
