DH, DD3 and I.

fridge is empty for meals! Debating a walk around the supermarket but need a rough plan.

Bit sick of mince meat dinners and pasta.

not fish people.

inspire me!

DS away at uni and DD out with friends tonight

So just DH and I! We are having this

Slow cooked beef bourginnon

We're having orzo cooked with chorizo, garlic, peppers, onion, smoked paprika, I do this as a midweek meal on its own with salad sometimes but tonight we're having it as a side with seabass and fine green beans.
There will be plenty of orzo left over for lunches tomorrow

It's Saturday. Pasta, garlic bread and wine. Obvs not condoning giving wine to the kids - although they would be asleep by seven and you'd get a relaxing evening!

Lush. Might have that tomorrow!

Ds14 was supposed to be making chilli tonight but we bought some Turkish flatbread this morning so hoping to adjust it to something that we can eat the bread with. I've been googling Turkish recipes with beef mince.

Nearly midnight here.
I made homemade chicken burgers.
Made the patties using chicken mince.
Added lettuce, beetroot, egg, tomato, cheese and sauce!
Was delicious!!

Traybake of new potatoes, red onions and mackerel fillets with an herb sauce. Green salad alongside.

You'd do right too. It's so good! I put them in the microwave to start off, then oil and salt on the skin and in the oven for 15/20 mins. Big knob of butter, cheese, beans and then a bit of cheese again and boom perfection

Homemade Pizzas here too - Te Oka, which is shrimps, chorizo, red pepper, red onion and chili oil.

Yesterday was Kievs, chips and coleslaw
Tonight is Quorn curry with rice and mini naans
Tomorrow will either be gammon, chips and fried eggs or fish, chips and peas 🤔

Chicken breasts with couscous, and a mix of veg - braised red cabbage, peas and sweetcorn, followed by plum tart and creme fraiche.

Only for some reason the gelatine hasn't thickened the plum juice, so I can pour it into the pie filling. Not sure why. Hmmm.....???

Chinese, counting down the minutes until kids go to bed so we can order 😋

We had Ainsley Harriott Caribbean Creations chicken and mango curry. It was delicious and when doing my shopping list and checking online no supermarket stocks the Caribbean mango paste pouch anymore 😭😭😭😭
