Love this kind of friend but it hasn't been done in a while.

I will begin.
Ask your question and you could also answer what you would like too!

So......

Would you rather a £1000 voucher for your favourite supermarket or clothing shop?

I think I would prefer the supermarket as you can get clothes in Asda/Sainsbury etc

Be invisible whenever I chose. See what everyone is really like/saying!

If you found 10, 000 and no one would ever know it was you that found it...would you keep it or hand it in?

Judgejudysno1fan · 22/01/2024 07:32

@Cocteautriplet and @MrsHughesPinny and the diamonds are mixed in with the actual puke, so you have to throw up in a bucket and then fish out the diamonds! To sell on or whatever!

I think I'd have to hand it in - it might be someone's life savings that they are depending on, and I'd never sleep at night if I kept it.

Would you rather hop everywhere for a week, or have to precede every sentence you spoke with the word 'bubble'?

Qwerty21 · 22/01/2024 10:16

Bubble. CBA hopping anywhere.

Would you rather eat every meal with one arm tied behind your back or with a blindfold on

OooohAhhhh · 22/01/2024 11:05

One arm tied behind my back, I'd hate not knowing what I was eating.

If you had the opportunity to take an 'eternity' pill to live forever would you? (Think 'death becomes her' style) but everyone else around you dies as normal - or would you rather win the lottery (euromillions) in this lifetime?

DrunkenElephant · 22/01/2024 11:51

Euromillions definitely!

would you rather travel the world, see amazing sights but have no meaningful relationships because you move so often, or have a meaningful relationship but never leave your current town?

SmilingMoon · 22/01/2024 11:58

The latter. For centuries people used to never leave their town and probably didn't think much of it. I love travel, but see travelling as a privilege not a right, and I can't imagine never coming "home" long term.

Would you rather be able to speak 10 languages, or be able to do any calculation in your head instantly?

CrapGoat · 22/01/2024 12:45

10 languages definitely! I am envious of people who are bilingual.

Go to prison for a year for something you hadn't done or
spend a year doing a job you absolutely hate?

selfishmeow · 22/01/2024 14:30

I am more familiar with doing a job that I absolutely hate just for the experience on my cv so I would choose that over prison life.

Would you rather marry a handsome man who is your soulmate but has no career prospects or earning potential or marry an old frail billionaire but must have children from him for the family legacy to continue but you will be very very very filthy rich.

CrapGoat · 22/01/2024 14:47

The latter definitely! I've been unlucky with a lot of financial things recently plus I'm a lesbian and it wouldn't be for very long, and hopefully a 'turkey baster' job because he couldn't 'stay up' 🤣

Would you rather eat a wasp or a slug?

TheLogicalSong · 22/01/2024 19:32

Would you rather eat a wasp or a slug?

I've eaten snails, and a slug is just a snail without a shell - and wasps sting - so I'll go for the slug.

Would you rather walk 5 miles with really bad blisters but no luggage, or 5 miles in comfy shoes but with a really heavy suitcase that didn't have wheels?

CrapGoat · 22/01/2024 19:42

Some guy did die due to having eaten a slug, though! Can a dead wasp sting? I don't know.https://news.sky.com/story/australian-man-sam-ballard-who-was-left-paralysed-after-eating-a-slug-dies-aged-28-11545373

I have walked 13 miles with bad blisters! My feet began hurting before we'd even got to the point of starting the walk. I went back home to get some thicker socks but by the time I'd realised my feet were not going to fare well we were in the middle of nowhere and I'm stubborn. My feet were such a MESS!

So that.

Would you rather run down the street naked for 30 seconds, or learn that your neighbour has been able to see you in the shower for the last year?

Australian man Sam Ballard who was left paralysed after eating a slug dies aged 28

The keen rugby player suffered a severe brain infection when he ate the creature which was infected with rat lungworm.

TheLogicalSong · 22/01/2024 20:21

@CrapGoat I'd be sure to cook it thoroughly to kill any germs/parasites.

Definitely the shower thing - I am a bath person and have only had two or three showers in the last year, so no biggie really.

Would you rather be stuck indoors for six months, unable to set foot outside, or have to camp in a tent for six months (basic tent, not glamping)?

CrapGoat · 22/01/2024 20:24

Yes, a cooked slug sounds much more palatable (!) Xmas Grin

Stay indoors definitely. I am a homebird anyway. As long as I've got my dog and supplies of all I need. I'd miss walking my dog and I'd miss socialising but I can do without the pub/visiting people/eating out as long as people are allowed to come and see me. Would need to get someone to walk my dog I guess but that's easy done.

Would you rather know exactly when you were going to die, and how, or know how all your relatives and friends were (morbid one, I know)!

OooohAhhhh · 23/01/2024 11:19

Relatives & friends! I don't want to know when I will, especially if it wasn't what I was expecting.

Would you rather go to space or see the titanic wreck site?

selfishmeow · 23/01/2024 11:30

I would love to go to space Blush

Would you rather have a £3 million flat in Knightsbridge which is a 3 bed 120sqm or a £30 million mansion with pools, tennis courts with every thing in the arse end of nowhere where the upkeep will be from your own current salary. You can't sell, pass onto your kids or profit from it from renting etc. It will be only yours until you die.

Judgejudysno1fan · 24/01/2024 11:39

The flat in knightsbridge

Would you rather drink a pint of ketchup for £500,000
Or do twenty press ups or situps in the middle of tesco for £1mill

OP posts:
Qwerty21 · 24/01/2024 16:06

Press ups/sit ups. And that's saying something as I don't think I can do 2 lol.

Would you rather only ever holiday in the last place you went, or never have a holiday in the same city twice

Verv · 24/01/2024 16:17

Never have a holiday in the same city twice.

Would you rather be 2 stone overweight or 2 stone underweight forever?

SmilingMoon · 24/01/2024 17:40

That's a tough one. I'm a healthy weight now, closer to underweight than overweight. I have been close to overweight in the past and felt really uncomfortable in my skin. So probably 2 stone underweight...

Would you rather live in Barbie World, or Sylvanian Families world?

CrapGoat · 24/01/2024 22:21

Barbie world. Thar girl has EVERYTHING! Love Sylvanian families though.
Would you rather live without your favourite thing in your kitchen, or favourite thing in your bedroom (can't be a person 😆)

WishesPromises · 24/01/2024 22:28

Tricky. My favourite thing in my bedroom is my bed, so that's a winner. But then I'm left to choose between getting rid of my oven or hob?

But it will have to be kitchen.

Would you rather live in lies and feel loved or live the truth and feel betrayed?

RosesAndHellebores · 24/01/2024 22:30

Live the truth

Would you marry your DH all over again or be single?

dizzydizzydizzy · 24/01/2024 22:47

Be single. I was abused.

African safari or Maldives?

CrapGoat · 25/01/2024 00:34

That's a tough one. I LOVE animals but I think I'd be scared and assume something would go wrong and I'd get eaten. I'm not one for lazing about on the beach all day but given the anxiety I'd pick the Maldives.

Be really really cold for a day or far too warm?
