2 landing attempts and still not down.

I think it's windy there

Lyon going to Shannon it seems.

PatriciaHolm · 21/01/2024 18:33

@notimagain yes - there are now a couple more that look as if they are being lined up for that approach. Not that it helped Lyon much ...

Live ATC is available for Dublin. It's a bit garbled at the moment but it might be my browser as I'm on desktop.

If anyone is interested it is on Airport Detail: EIDW | LiveATC.net

The wind in gusts has gone around (backed) to being slightly more southerly/southeasterly than earlier...

Be interesting to see how this works out.

(Edit to add: maybe not...)

Inverness-Bristol has finally landed.

Bristol Airport was used during the 2nd World War to train pilots to fly in adverse conditions. Its often fog bound .

cakeorwine · 21/01/2024 18:44

Nice - Dublin off somewhere else

Where is the Kaunas flight going? Glasgow? Back to Belfast?

Seeingadistance · 21/01/2024 18:56

Oh, Paris currently just north of Belfast but says it’s diverting to … Paris!

And it’s landed at Belfast!

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 21/01/2024 18:57

Lyon to Dublin looks to have landed in Shannon

At least they're in the destination country!

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 21/01/2024 18:59

Gatwick to Dublin also landing in Shannon

Whylurkwhenicanjoinin · 21/01/2024 18:59

Anyone watch the Jet 2 Tenerife to Bristol just divert to Birmingham, try to land, have a go around but made it at second attempt, id be in tears!

Edited

No, it hasn’t! Was coming down over runway and is now up and away!

Scautish · 21/01/2024 19:05

KUN-DUB landed in Glasgow

cakeorwine · 21/01/2024 19:05

Looks like Emirates trying soon

Looks like Ryanair from Krakow is going to give Bristol a crack. The Ryanair pilots always seem to be pretty brave and determined, the way they always seem to slam the plane down whenever I've flown with them 😂

trakehner · 21/01/2024 19:06

In the time it took me to post that it looks like they gave up after all!

Just12345 · 21/01/2024 19:09

Amsterdam landed at Dublin!

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 21/01/2024 19:12

Just12345 · 21/01/2024 19:13

Emirates got so close but looks to be going up again

2024please · 21/01/2024 19:13

Nope, Emirates going round maybe?

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 21/01/2024 19:13

Oh dear

Dubai climbing back up

cakeorwine · 21/01/2024 19:15
