Sorry, what happened to Cologne?

Look, it's not worth stressing. In many of the biggest fatalities the investigators have said it would have happened at such a speed people would haven't been aware until the very very end. A couple of cases in particular passengers wouldn't have known until the plane had hit the water because the loss of altitude was so fast and because altitude changes can be quite imperceptible unless you have ear or sinus problems. Alao in those cases the impact would cause a lot of people to die extremely quickly so they'd have not noticed the water anyway! So really, it is a waste of energy worrying, just relax and enjoy the holiday or change of scene or whatever it is 🙂

I couldn't see it, but I was watching the chap who livestreams from the airport and he commented on a plane that was clearly 'going around' as it was too high, but the next thing was it was coming down and it was the Eurowings Cologne flight. I assume ATC hadn't lost it like we had.

It was very quickly followed in by the Easyjet Bristol flight.
