I love reading these!

I got the lamp that I had been wanting for at least 6 months! I also got a Prada Paradoxe perfume, a Lego Bonsai tree, an Inkey List skincare set and some socks 😊

A calendar of my celeb crush that my husband paid ridiculous postage for as it came from America. I got lots of other little things too but that was the cherry on the cake.

PuttingDownRoots · 31/12/2023 17:26

Lego Insects, botanical garden, and two parrots
Pj's socks and pants
Ghosts book
Jeans
A candle

wasanneofcleves · 31/12/2023 17:29

I got the 5 things I had sent links to from my husband. He did also manage to think for himself a tiny bit and got me some chocolate, a book and a pair of socks. Wish he was able to choose presents for me or treat me a bit! Other than that a dressing gown from my mum (also requested) and that's it.

My best gift was a jumper - one I bought myself in mustard last year and absolutely love, DH spotted is now out in a gorgeous green so I'm delighted with that. Also Harry Potter PJs, Tropic bits, earrings, a food flask, a smoothie maker, nail polish, a swimming towel, posh chocs, socks, a voucher for my favourite beauty therapist and theatre tokens. I was thoroughly spoilt!

gerbo · 31/12/2023 17:36

Flowers and cards and chocs from parents of children I teach.

A small ramekin for teabags from the children, as our last one broke...

But best of all, DH and I didn't spend on each other, and all funds are going towards a lovely family meal out at the swanky Italian in town for the 4 of us. I honestly can't wait. I'll put on a nice dress and enjoy 3 courses. Worth saving our pennies for!

£20 cash, a dressing gown that I chose plus surprises of a door stop, a book and some cheap perfume (which I like)

Bbq1 · 31/12/2023 17:45

I was really lucky. Dh bought me
2 books,
a 5 year diary
3 pairs of earrings,
Loccitaine set
Cute fluffy make up bag
A colouring book
Simon game
Handheld game
The last 3 items were especially thought thoughtful as I'm going through chemo atm and my lovely husband thought of gifts that would help pass the time for me during treatment and recovery. My ds bought me a Body Shop set and sweets, he's great at presents despite being just 18. My mum and i do about 10/12 presents to each other so i removed lots of lovely gifts from mum. DSister bought mr a Wellness set and Db a fabulous huge salt lamp. My best friend did me a hamper of gifts that she thought would help me through treatment containing slippers, dressing gown, chocolate and lots more pampering treats. So, so kind.
I feel very fortunate to have my wonderful family and friends.

Bbq1 · 31/12/2023 17:46

Oh and dh also bought me a station to charge phone, fitbit and earbuds.

TragicMuse · 31/12/2023 17:54

I was thoroughly spoilt!

My husband bought a beautiful necklace I'd admired in November - I said at the time 'if anyone ever needs to know what I would like as a present, this would be perfect'!

From others I got some lovely books, a specific magazine subscription, a weekend abroad, and a fabulous stocking - everyone contributes to the stockings.

I felt very loved and appreciated.

tobee · 31/12/2023 18:26

Bean to cup coffee machine that I chose. Ds and I will get the most use out of it because dd and dh don't/can't drink much coffee. ☕️

Some books. 📚

All good.

It's the best present I could have asked for ❤️

we have a lot of challenges as she's autistic and a teenager (!) so it meant everything to me.
