Got popcorn ready, currently sat at home scrolling through Netflix and Amazon Prime looking for something to watch.

No desire to leave the sofa in the warmth.

Extended family, traditional steak pie dinner, booze, board games, then watch the fireworks out the window at the Bells.

We are just having a quiet family celebration, having a Thai takeaway and have champagne and champagne truffles and lemon curd biscuits. If the weather is OK tomorrow we will go to see fireworks on the beach but not holding my breathe on the weather.

Get the kids to bed, shower and just relax. Normally our neighbour set off fireworks so I'll be simultaneously enjoying watching them and shitting myself that one will fly through the roof or a window of our property although given the weather warnings and torrential rain forecast I doubt anyone will be setting them off

Celebrated last night

Early night tonight, going in fresh to the new year on a new week. Not very often that happens!

No children here

We've cleaned out the cupboard under the stairs (urgh), selected out initial cut of photo's for our wedding album and now relaxing on the sofa playing a joint switch/ps5 game

Fret fireworks will hit the house as people round here seem to love them. The cats (housecats) are generally fine, but I prefer to be in just in case

Last time there were loads of fireworks I actually went to check the garden as it was so close and sounded like they were going everywhere it was quite alarming

Have no desire to go out, too busy, too expensive and too cosy inside!

We're hosting a small party, with our friends. Making punch now and then will start getting food etc laid out. Will head up to the top floor for the fireworks out the velux windows later!

Staying in with a chest infection. Have been ill for 2 weeks now 😔.

My best friend and her husband were due over for dinner and cocktails but had to cancel as just not up to it.

OH is cooking and us making pornstar martinis which will either kill or cure me.

On tge wagon from tomorrow for at least 2 months so having my last couple of alcoholic drinks!

Going into our village for a quick drink in our local with our best friends then back to theirs for a lovely meal, drinks, games and seeing the NY in. DH and I are in our early 60's and the days of us going up to London, partying etc on NYE are long gone (thank goodness!).

Just the 4 of us, me, dh and two dc (16 and 10). Currently waiting on takeaway curry delivery that should be here in 10 minutes, then board games, drinks and probably the BBC Rick Astley thing. Tomorrow we will have a nice breakfast, maybe a walk, three course lunch and then buffet tomorrow evening with more games and a film. Happy New Year to you all

I hope to be in bed by 9pm after a nice bath, I want to feel refreshed for tomorrow as I have friends over for dinner. I don't tend to celebrate New Year's Eve as prefer to do something with friends / family New Year's Day instead.

Having some friends round to play some games (maybe some Mario kart) some drinks and snacks and then toast in the bells. Very chill but nice! Obviously watching the Edinburgh castle count down :p

I'm hungover from yesterday so early to bed for me.

Well my plans changed as I was due to travel to stay with a friend, but he got too worked up about, well, work. He doesn't half get himself into a pickle at times.

So I'm at home on sofa, about to have a slob meal of macaroni cheese and chips, then snuggle in and watch a film :)

Been to bil’s for afternoon tea which was lovely
Dd and her boyfriend are going to a friends they are just getting ready then Dh will drop them off and pick them up about 12.30
Going to have a bath and put my pyjamas on then watch tv or a film with Dh got some cheeses and pates to have later
Will most probably be in bed listening to a podcast before 12

Was going out but several people are ill so it’s been cancelled. Just trying to find something to watch on Netflix but will probably be asleep before 12 . Happy new year everyone 🥳

House to myself, well, the cat's here too, just had a Lush bath, changed my bed, ready meal from Mark's, Cornetto in the freezer and I'm rocking and rolling. My partying years are well in the past. I may splash out and have a gin and tonic.

Wondering how much noise my neighbours will make and for how long.

We've had chippy tea, we'll get the younger kids to bed. Older kids will stay up. We're going to have a few drinks and find something good to watch or play a board game.

Toddler is asleep so I'm currently reading my book with a glass of wine

All the dc have gone out.

Dh and I are eating crisps, drinking wine and going to bed early. Too tired! It's been a long year and I start radiotherapy for breast cancer soon so getting as much rest as I can.

Eat dinner, sit around watching Netflix, pick up a DD and her two friends from a NYE party about half an hour away. Get home before 1am hopefully.
