No. I had a cold in October time I think.

Friolero · 22/12/2023 18:08

Yes, I'm a 1:1 TA in a school, and the boy I look after had a cold last week which I've now got. It's been pretty mild though thankfully.

soundsys · 22/12/2023 18:12

Yep I'm well into the second week of this cold now and very bored of it. Full of snot, terrible hacking cough, feel like my sinuses will explode.

Grazyna80 · 22/12/2023 18:21

Yes. Nasty! Also blocked ear.

Both me and my husband have covid, came on very quickly. He tested positive first and I was negative but then the next day I tested positive, so if anyone has a negative test it's worth doing another one the next day.

The reason we tested is to limit the spread, especially at this time of year. I think COVID cases are on the rise again and there are more hospital admissions which has a knock on effect on all of us.

i tested negative for covid but then due to loss of smell tested again - positive. went to a work social last week, loads testing positive.

thankfully tests starting to go fainter now so hope to see my parents on xmas day still, my df has cancer so couldn't go if still positive 🤞🏻

2dogsandabudgie · 22/12/2023 18:30

alexisccd - Hope you are negative by Monday and get to spend Christmas with your family.

Yes, feeling incredibly rough. Where does one get covid tests these days?

I bought mine from Amazon.

FestiveFruitloop · 22/12/2023 19:24

I had one recently and am now in the delightful post-cold phase of constant violent coughing which my asthma always gifts me after a cold. (Covid has the same effect, lucky me. 😬)

WellJuhnelle · 22/12/2023 20:06

Yup, had one for about 3 weeks. Had a few days feeling better at the end of last week but it has come back full force. So snotty and absolutely exhausted. Not Covid, have been testing as part of the ONS study.

everythingisgoingup · 24/12/2023 10:42

Me!

Awful cold with cough that will not stop so I am unable to sleep 😴

BlueDayBritishIdiot · 24/12/2023 10:43

I had avoided it but feel like one is brewing today. I feel rotten.

JollyJolene · 24/12/2023 10:51

Yep. Broke up Thursday, feel like rubbish this morning. Last Christmas I had a chest infection so hoping it doesn’t go the same way this year.

kimchio · 24/12/2023 10:51

Mines on the way out!

No sign of a cold for me. DH has one, and the DCs each had one which made them sleepy for a couple of days each (possibly Covid, we didn't test). We have PILs staying who are in their 70s and they don't seem to have caught it.

Buy a property, replace my 15 year old car and finally visit New York

CadyEastman · 29/04/2024 06:48

I'm not sure you posted that on the right thread @Keepingittogetherstepbystep? Wink

MovingMad87 · 29/04/2024 06:57
