Break up for Christmas?

When does everyone break up for Christmas? We finish on 22/12 at 3.30pm and it seems so late!

Finished yesterday.

Dd finishes school Wednesday 20th. Dh booked time off over Christmas so finishes Tuesday 19th. I’m on maternity but if I was at work I’d probably be working Christmas Day.

My dc finish tomorrow go back on 4th. I finish 21st go back on 2nd.

All the schools around here break up tomorrow, I work to school timetables.

state back 2/3 depending on inset day, private 8/9 depending on insets. I start again on the 9th.

Today would be too early but next Friday seems quite late. But Wednesday to Wednesday is also shit. Out of the three next Friday is best. Did we skip a Monday due to a leap year last time it should have been a Monday??

Break up 22nd
I much prefer working right up to Christmas, then having the break after.

Tomorrow

I’m in the US and most of the schools around here finish Dec 22 and back Jan 8.

My DD (Uni) finishes tomorrow and back Jan 16.

3 schools, 1 DC breaks up tomorrow, my school breaks on 20th, other DC on 21st.

20th December for me (primary TA), DC (secondary) and DH (construction related industry).

We're all back on the 3rd/4th.
Personally I prefer longer before Christmas, the build up even with teens, is lovely.

DH and I previously ran our own business with bugger all time off at all so we do really appreciate it even if I'd love to be breaking up tomorrow.

22nd and back to work on 27th

Primary finishes today, secondary finishes lunchtime on Tuesday.
First one goes back 2nd, other goes back on 5th.

Finished at 4pm yesterday. Have to take 2 days unpaid to cover my 18 days off until 2nd Jan but its worth it.
DD breaks up from secondary school today.

DC finish school on Wednesday at 12.30pm (secondary)/3.15pm (primary)

I am working till 2.30pm on 22nd, then back on 28th, 29th, 30th, then off till 3rd January. DH finishes on 22nd then back on 3rd January (I'm PT public facing, he is FT in an office)

DS1 is finishing today but will be going to holiday club all next week! It's fine though as holiday club is at school so for him it is an extra week of playing with his friends.

I break up on the 21st (Inset for me) but my children break up end of day 22nd. Go back the 8th and it'll be a 5 week half term which is something to look forward to. Also, DS is poorly so I'm off with him. Hopefully it means we'll have a Christmas without illness!

This year it's 2.30pm on Friday 22nd (usually finish at 3pm). Off for 2 full weeks.

Last year it was 2.30 on Friday 23rd! I'm in central Scotland.

Work finishes on 21st and back open on 3rd. School finishes on 22nd and back open on 8th. I’m going to enjoy a child free day next Friday!

Break up here at 1.30pm. It's later than normal, but at least we get a full two weeks off. I have a second job and have a long shift on 24th, so will have to make the most of my day off on 23rd.

We break up on Tuesday which is a half day.

My kids have inset day on the 22nd and so are finishing at 12:30 on the thursday as the school have also decided to do a half day!

3.15 on the 22nd. It's killing me!

1:30 on the 22nd. I booked next week off before I noticed how late the term ended.

So, I've got a week to myself next week!

My eldest broke up yesterday. Dh has just gone to get ds3 and the younger 2 finish at 2pm.
