When is the last time you gave money via cheque?

My daughter received a Christmas cheque today for £10 from my parents today and made me realise just how long it is since I have used a cheque. I think it must be over 5 years ago - what do you use cheques for and can anyone beat me at 5 years?

I can't remember 5+ years for definite because I've been with DH coming up 5 years and it was well before that!

3 years ago, mainly out of nostalgia. Cheques were part of my childhood/early adulthood.

I was not bothered to set up payees on online banking at the time, as it used to be via that calculator pin sentry thing…but it is a hassle for people to payin nowadays, with branches closing. so it’s outdated unfortunately.

Not in the last decade. For the last 5 years I have had a bank account that doesn’t even issue cheque books.

I have sent off a cheque today.

Probably 2014. Certainly no later than mid 2015 as I'd changed banks and didn't ask for a cheque book.
