EconomyClassRockstar · 10/12/2023 21:25

A bunch of Umbra Buddy Wall hooks because it makes me laugh having brightly colored men climbing up my kitchen wall.

christmaspaws · 10/12/2023 21:27

Lewis Hamilton Monster. The flavour is supposed to be "stone fruits" and I dilute it with water (50% Monster to 50% water) to make a litre. It's got the same caffeine as 3 small cups of coffee and has a really soft refreshing flavour.

A mini dishwasher which doesn't need to be plumbed in (tiny kitchen here!)

Ooh, could you post a link to one of these please?

ThisIsntThe80sPat · 10/12/2023 21:44

Slow cooker

Kärcher - No more soaking wet towels every morning and evening!

KTSl1964 · 10/12/2023 21:44

Do people not read the thread - at least 6 times the bloody dishwasher has been posted - so many people need spoon feeding. Get a grip!!!

PinkCyclamen · 10/12/2023 21:45

Tefal toaster that poaches an egg at the same time (also can be used for beans and boiled eggs). I bought it as a replacement for one we've had for 8 years. I have poached egg on toast for breakfast most days Egg toaster

Holland & Barrat own brand. Think it was £4 and has made a real difference. You need not to take calcium at the same to me though.

Is that ‘you need not to’ or ‘you do need to’. I take combined calcium and magnesium supplement, which is why I’m asking.

Ebeneser · 10/12/2023 21:53

My Peloton bike

Theoldwoman · 10/12/2023 22:03

Plantation Shutters
House plants - they literally make a space come alive!
Spa pool - it gets used almost every single day.
Airfryer
Ugg boots

ImplodingKitten · 10/12/2023 22:04

Ack, sorry, I should have read the thread before asking! I just got over-excited at the thought of a dishwasher that could fit in a tiny kitchen 😂

Ladybird69 · 10/12/2023 22:08

@AutumnNamechange what does the collagen powder do?

procrastinationismyhobby · 10/12/2023 22:11

Jewelanemone · 10/12/2023 06:31

Eyelash serum. Short straight eyelashes are a thing of the past! I love my new fluttery lashes 🙂

Ooh please share what brand!

CrimsonElevenDelightPetrichor · 10/12/2023 22:20

@MrsMarzetti Holland & Barrat, £4 for 30.
@ChocolateCinderToffee you need magnesium to absorb calcium, but calcium stops the magnesium being absorbed, iirc. I took a combined supplement for about a week and noticed I wasn't sleeping so well in that short time. I switched back to magnesium only and the change was immediate - much better sleep from the first night.

Tiny little thing but
Vinyl Nail Wraps. Nail varnish never lasts on my nails, not even a day. I hate gels and other similar. They make my nails feel clunky and uncomfortable and I can't resist chewing them off when they start to chip.
Vinyls are around £1 a set. Look just like well applied varnish and last for at least a week. I love them. I still don't wear them all the time but they take about 10 minutes to do (after practicing a few times) and stay looking fabulous - and when I eventually peel them off, there is no nail damage

Could you share a link to some please?

Tezza1 · 10/12/2023 22:21

@Needcoffeeimmediatley I have just bought one too. An added advantage is that it sits on a bench so the there is no bending over to fill/empty. (I have a bad back).

Bethany7 · 10/12/2023 22:22

The vinyl nail wraps sound very good.

For me I bought a load of cheap but very nice and not cheap looking bottles from shein who which I put shampoo conditioner and body wash in. I even got one for the washing liquid. They look so nice and have lasted a long time too!

Happilyobtuse · 10/12/2023 22:26

We got new built in wardrobes, such a game changer! So much more space to put stuff! In terms of purchases, I bought 13.5 tog duvet and realised how good they are in the winter!

Other good purchases over the past few years - apple watch, air fryer, hand held hoover, Bose portable blue tooth speaker, good quality knives from John Lewis, an electric boiled egg maker, GHD hair straightener, clinique colour pop lip stick, il makiage foundation, magic mould remover.

Maddy70 · 10/12/2023 22:28

Airfryer, no more greasy splashes uo my kitchen tiles

4andnotcounting · 10/12/2023 22:32

MeinKraft · 09/12/2023 23:43

I bought one of those mops off Facebook that has a wet side and a dry side and I love it. Sometimes I just think about how much better life is now I don't have soaking wet floors for an hour after mopping (I dunno why but this house it takes forever for the floors to dry in winter even when the heating is on)

@MeinKraft can you share a link / name of which one you have, as I feel l need one (!) thanks
