I bought a glass butter dish but the butter still stayed rock solid. Not sure where I’ve gone wrong.

...Where are you keeping the butter dish?

lesdeluges · 10/12/2023 14:26

Shark handheld vacuum. No more sweeping and dustpans for me.

KitchenMaster hot water dispenser. No more kettles and wires, tea and coffee on tap.

Itham · 10/12/2023 14:29

Second airfryer. One is not enough.

@Abracadabra12345 we stayed in a holiday cottage in Norfolk in May, the bed was so comfy, I pulled apart the bedding before we left to find out the make of the mattress topper. Our bed at home is pocket sprung and the topper has made our bed feel like sleeping on a cloud. I have also bought one for our spare bed and for my mother. She now says she could not sleep without a mattress topper. The topper on our bed is the dual topper ( you can unzip one layer to put in the washing machine). The topper on our spare bed and the one I bought for my Mum is “Hypo-Allergenic comfort topper” all from The White Company. Hope this helps. My husband said it was an expensive holiday 😳

Dehumidifier. Had dreadful condensation problem in rented property.
Solved.

Erborian BB cream. It suits my skin far better than foundation which feels heavy and accentuates my pores.

I had a miniature of this and absolutely loved it, felt light on my skin and just evened everything out. I bought a full sized one and they seemed to have changed the formula, it looks pale and feels cakey I have to mix it in with moisturiser. I might try again incase I just got a bad batch or somethin.

Bread maker - now we make completely organic bread at home which isn’t full of all the 💩 they put into shop bought bread and it’s a fraction of the price! Once you start eating freshly baked home made bread you’ll think the stuff from the shop tastes like plastic!

Butter dish - spreadable butter is the biggest con! You’re literally paying a premium for the luxury of keeping your butter in the fridge and the food companies mixing it with 💩 processed oils to make it spreadable. Blocks of butter you keep in a butter dish are much cheaper and it tastes soooo much better! They are also much healthier as they are not full of processed 💩!

Does the butter not go off or very soft?

Mummyofbananas · 10/12/2023 14:40

mine would be coverless duvets- best thing ever save me so much time I just pop the full thing in the machine- especially if one of the kids has wet the bed and they dry very quick.

RenoDakota · 10/12/2023 14:46

Is it really worth it? How uncomfortable is the seat?

Faux fur lined and fleece lined leggings. I only discovered them a few weeks ago and now I need to stock up on more. They make a real difference from ordinary leggings on a cold day.

Edited

Any particular brand? I'm having decision fatigue!

An expensive gel hybrid mattress ... OMG, my life is transformed!

christmaspaws · 10/12/2023 14:52

@happyandhopefull uncomfortable for the first month or so but fine after that
I genuinely enjoy it. I mean it won't force you to exercise but the classes are great and there's so much you can do. I mostly do spin, weights, barre. It makes it easier to exercise and more fun

Went from doing a 10 min ride and gasping for air to a 90 min class

I just bought those for my parents for Christmas. They are vacuum sealed so can’t open them yet. A bit worried that they will be too flat more like a blanket? Do you tumble dry them?

onwardandupwards · 10/12/2023 14:54

A second air frier and a 4 slice toaster!

Same here!! The miniature was so nice, bought the full size and it was nothing like it.
I now buy Origins Vitazing Moisturizer instead, it’s brilliant.
