Anyone ordered an oodie recently?

I ordered one on 23rd November and still not received a dispatch email. Their website says there is a delay and they won't reply to emails for 12 business days!

I'm just hoping someone will tell me they ordered 22nd Nov and it was dispatched Friday...

This is my dd's main Xmas present so starting to get worried

I got exactly the same and I’m adamant I entered address correctly.. it’s now been delivered someone in Manchester (not where I’m from) I’m hoping it’s part of the refund process from now. Oodie really messed up didn’t they….

I also got one from 5poundstuff and it’s genuine. Bargain at 13.99 for a blue one.

Something I find baffling about this...I ordered something in the black friday sale, silence until the "we can refund or ship in January" email... yet my partner ordered something yesterday (I'd forgotten to mention the issues I was having so he didn't know)...his order has been shipped today and is expected before Christmas. Surely they should be working through their backlog rather than focusing on new orders? It shouldn't just be super random how/when they ship things?

Dee1224 · 20/12/2023 20:59

@ForeverWinter and @Jackmark21 - the Oodie lost a lot of order information round about BF - apparently they knew who had ordered and what, but the shipping labels weren’t generated correctly so lots of people didn’t get their orders. They managed to retrieve some but not all of the information.

I believe they have had logistical problems in previous years, but this is a new low!

Mines been sent to a post office/ collection place 75 miles away from my address. Customer service tell me it’s been delivered. I’m still badgering them. I want my £60 back

Dee1224 · 27/12/2023 14:20

Good grief @Jackmark21 - that’s awful. I know there was a mix up with shipping labels, so that’s probably what has happened.

If you haven’t already, do leave a review on TP - sometimes the Oodie respond to these.

Good luck!

I've had a horrendous experience with Oodie (left 2 reviews on trustpilot). Ordered on the 26th November having been bombarded with adverts for their sales on Facebook. Like lots of other people got all the vague emails weeks later about the demand being high, but didn't say anything about whether or not the order would come for christmas. It said we could cancel via email but turnaround would be 12 days for a response to that email which is outrageous. I responded straight away (this was 7th December), had no response. Had an email on the 24th December telling me my order has been sent, no response to my reply saying I'd cancelled it weeks before. The order arrived today.

Luckily everything was correct in the order, but I don't want it. I want my money back. I had to go and buy other presents in the meantime so I don't need the oodies anymore. I havnt checked what their return process is yet.

This was the first time I've ordered from the oodie, won't be doing that again.

I’m so sorry to hear of your bad experiences but wonder if some of you have been scammed? I just googled Oodie as I would quite like another one (hoping they were now sorted) and the first link I clicked on looks like a scam site.

At first I thought it was genuine, but they only have a few patterned hoodies available and also parts of the website template haven’t been filled in. I then found a different Oodie website which looks to be genuine, with lots of products available. The URLs are different but similar. If I wasn’t familiar with their range I would have been taken in by the first site as the logo was almost identical.

CapitalKnockers · 29/12/2023 09:05

My order was definitely from The Oodie site. Given the amount of customers having bad experiences with them this year and their very poor communication on this - I'd say its far more likely people have ordered from the right site. If the real Oodie were doing well fulfilling their orders they wouldn't have been so quiet about it.

WreckTangled · 29/12/2023 09:17

Mine definitely wasn’t a scam either.

Cakewineorgin · 30/12/2023 00:17

It was just a thought as the first site that came up with a google (theoodie-store.com) looks genuine at first glance but is definitely fake. Their address is 123 Fake Street, Toronto! This was also the site that came up for me when clicking on a Faceache link.

BiblicallyAccurateAngel · 30/12/2023 00:23

I ordered a Xmas present for my DD from Oodie on the 11th December. I received it yesterday.

They did send me a generic email to say they were having warehouse issues though.

Not sure if I'd order from them again tbh.

fml666 · 30/12/2023 00:39

I ordered 2 for Christmas presents at the end of November. They arrived yesterday. One had an incredibly strong chemical smell which made us all cough when opened and the other had a 15cm split seem. Embarrassing as they were presents that were already late.Angry

CapitalKnockers · 09/02/2024 09:48

Interestingly I've just had an email response to all the emails I sent before Christmas asking if I'm happy with the order they sent. And offering me a discount code as an apology. I have no intention of ordering from them again so it's pointless to me, but others might get similar emails.
