Just cried at last hour of Harry Potter deathly hallows part 2. But I do in the book too at certain sections.

The Orphanage - think I cried for an hour after it ended.

Agree with The Notebook and Toy Story 3.

Theforeverhome · 09/12/2023 20:35

Gallipoli - I’ve not seen it for over 30 years but I remember the futile running at the end.

NameChange259 · 09/12/2023 20:38

City of Angels.

I was weeping!

Knackeredhamster · 09/12/2023 20:38

Remember me

Atonement

The green mile

flightless55 · 09/12/2023 20:42

Oh and Precious - the whole movie had me sobbing to be fair

LittleMachine · 09/12/2023 20:44

Plenty that have been mentioned already. My additions are The Last of Us, the Bill and Frank episode - so unexpectedly beautiful in all that violence and gore. Absolutely bawled my eyes out.
And It's a Sin. All of it, but Colin's first collapse and the final episode.

This has been mentioned but Firefly Lane. Not the final episode, although I did cry at that, but just after Kate's diagnosis when her and Tully miss each other in the lift, its one of the saddest and loneliest moments I've ever seen on TV.

The Bridge tv series was quite good for doing emotional endings to each series.

I loved The Bridge

Tibbb · 09/12/2023 20:45

Titanic - don't know if Rose dies in her sleep or if she's dreaming, but it made me cry.

fluffy2buffy · 09/12/2023 20:52

Who will love my children!

Buffypaws · 09/12/2023 20:55

Oh I forgot Lion when he goes back to India and finds his ma

fluffy2buffy · 09/12/2023 20:58

And Gallipoli

Itneverrainsitpissesitdown · 09/12/2023 21:06

The film DARYL from the 1980's. I was a child when I watched it.
I'm even more emotional watching it as an adult, and then the song as the credits roll.
It sort of reminds me of my son , who is a young adult now, and has never been able to speak. I can't really explain why I compare it to that.

Oh I forgot Lion when he goes back to India and finds his ma

Oh god. Not the end of Lion but the start! I had to turn it off and wait a few days until I could start it again!

KnittedCardi · 09/12/2023 21:44

So many great ones mentioned so far. We are a family of weepers, so often get the tissues out. I would add.....

Testament of Youth, soul destroying. The girls and I watched it recently, and I was saying I didn't remember it being very sad. Oh my God, we collectively sobbed for a good few minutes. Real headache inducing stuff.

Ally1992 · 09/12/2023 21:52

A dog’s purpose, cried all the way through it!

MoiraRoseVibes · 09/12/2023 21:56

The end of the recent-ish film The Father (starring Anthony Hopkins). Absolutely devastating. Fantastic film.

KnittedCardi · 09/12/2023 21:59

I second „Stepmother”

Morewineplease10 · 10/12/2023 02:07

The last episode of Fleabag and the last episode of the first season of Time with Sean Bean. 😭

Morewineplease10 · 10/12/2023 02:11

Also Schitts Creek! Although it's generally light hearted, it has so much substance and all the characters go on such a journey!

Lovely ending but also very emotional!
