Good amount here in the North East, we’ve decided to change our plans. Don’t want to risk travelling to Beamish even through it would look amazing and be very festive, we are going sledging instead.

margotrose · 03/12/2023 07:05

We've been snowed in since yesterday morning 🙈 we have about a foot of snow on the ground outside - Cumbria.

Wanttobeok · 03/12/2023 07:06

Some snow here in South Yorkshire. Had to cancel cinema plans today because even though its not much its too much for our car which wouldn't get off the road.

terraced · 03/12/2023 07:09

Lots in County Durham. I'm a gardener so it means loss of earnings for us. It's very pretty and our dogs love it but I don't want it to hang around too long.

Devilsmommy · 03/12/2023 07:13

West Midlands looking lovely with the white blanket☺️

Falalalalaa · 03/12/2023 07:17

East Mids here too, it’s so pretty!

garlictwist · 03/12/2023 07:43

Quite a lot here in West Yorkshire, I was going to go down to the gym on my e-scooter but not sure that's a good idea now.

RampantIvy · 03/12/2023 07:46

Some snow here in South Yorkshire. Been baking for a function. I hope we don't get too many cancellations. We live on a hill and I'm thankful that my car is good in the snow.

How does winter work when you’re a gardener? Serious question - so many gardening books basically tell you to ignore garden over winter, do you just not get income?

CeriB82 · 03/12/2023 08:01

Lucky you! Only on the mountains here (were high but snow is higher). Some on the ground in places

RampantIvy · 03/12/2023 08:18

How does winter work when you’re a gardener?

My cousin is a gardener and factors in that there will be days in the winter when he can't work. He works like a Trojan all summer and tends to go on holiday during the quiet months.

EasternStandard · 03/12/2023 08:19

No snow here. Any pics welcomed

CrackersCheeseAndWinePlease · 03/12/2023 08:20

We have a covering in West Yorkshire, pj and Xmas film day for us today

Soccermumamir · 03/12/2023 08:21

Think we're on like day 3 now in North East 🤦‍♀️ I'm staying in where it's warm 😆

GuitarGeorgina · 03/12/2023 08:32

East Midlands

there was a good covering at 4am but by 6 it was raining and now most has gone

Missingmyusername · 03/12/2023 08:34

Rain!!! 😭that’s it. South Wales. Not bitter at all.

DinosApple · 03/12/2023 08:36

Hoar frost and fog yesterday, just beautiful. Today it's windy, grey and just above freezing.

DinosApple · 03/12/2023 08:36

Sorry, in Suffolk. We rarely get lots of snow though.

margotrose · 03/12/2023 08:37

Our back garden this morning - featuring a very confused beagle 🙈😂

I’ve just moved up north from Devon so the snow is very exciting for us!

I'm just south of Leeds and this is what we woke up to:

Depending on your clientele, can’t you switch to clearing paths in gardens and drives? I could see that being a godsend for older or infirm people.
