Foods that you just don't like but others seem to love!

I'm not referring to obvious foods such as ice cream or popular top brand processed stuff.
I mean those foods that people often rave about as being particularly special.

I will add truffle and truffle oil to this list, oysters, salmon and veiny cheese can join the mix too

Mint chocolate, it's vile. And hot chocolate too, not my idea of a treat at all!

Wine. My ex in-laws thought I should drink it as I am a woman. No, pass the ale please.

Many, many years ago I had a truffle ravioli dish in a posh restaurant. It was the most heavenly thing I'd ever tasted.

Last year I thought I'd have a crack at making something with truffle oil as the memory was still so great.

Fucking disgusting. Had to throw the lot in the bin, including the whole bottle of oil.

Apple pie. I can't stand the cooked apples and cinnamon.

Oysters. I've never tried them but I just know that I'd hate them. Especially after I heard someone describe them as like swallowing a lump of rusty snot. 🤢🤢🤢

I also absolutely hate cake. I don't have a sweet tooth at all, but cake really makes me gag.

Marzipan but love almonds

I also can't stand wine, give me a lovely cold refreshing good quality lager any day or a nice and easy to drink cocktail

Can't stand shellfish or any kind of offal, all utterly vile.

Salted sweet stuff - salted caramel, salted chocolate etc. No. Stop it.

How anyone could even contemplate macaroni cheese is totally beyond me. .. surely it must be like eating thick gloop with soft floury lumps in? .. ( and I love cheese, cheese sauce and pasta) ...
Also gnocchi...I dont get it at all ..

Avocado (just about edible if mashed up with loads of flavourings but tastes of nothing when sliced up in a salad)

Avocado, really don't like it, weird texture and tastes horrible.

Anything in that horrid Heinz tomato sauce so baked beans, tinned tomato soup and tinned spaghetti.

Feta, halloumi, paneer, Brie.

Goat milk is the devil’s work.

Pizza. It's not bad as such, but I would choose a hundred other things over having a pizza.
