Coconut milk, red pepper, passata, kidney beans, ginger, shallots. Stock, dried or freezer herbs. Soy sauce instead of salt. Spice it up with chilli.

I just made roasted carrot, leek, celery and courgette soup. Ok but what really made it nice, I had some leftover cooked potato and bacon in the fridge. Shredded and fried it and used as a topping. Really good!

I just chuck in what I have in the fridge

My current soup on the go is parsnip, carrot, butter and onion with salt pepper, thyme and sage with a dash of lemon (can use vinegar) then i use my hand blender to make it creamy

I didn't have any potatoes left otherwise that would definitely have gone in

Next I'm going to make a potato and leek soup, then I'm trying out a cannelloni bean soup and then I want to try out a red lentil and gammon soup neither of the latter 2 I've tried before

Hairy Bikers bacon, tomato and lentil soup is fabulous! I’ll try to find the recipe.

Carrot and chedder on bbc good food, sounds so wrong but it's a little bowl of happiness.

Carrot and cheddar soup you say!

I thought I’d made most of the soups on bbc good food but not this one. Going to make some for tomorrow as Wednesday is a late night for us.

slow cooked beef and french onion - it's delicious
beef strips and 3/4 onions finely sliced - sauté lightly - add oregano, a garlic clove, dash of worstershire sauce and beef stock. Slow cook for 10 hours- I pop mine in the aga lower oven but a slow cooker would also work . Serve with toasted croutons topped with gruyère - super filling
