Meatballs? Plate pie?

Not suitable for the pressure cooker - but home made burgers (with onions and spices) are generally far better than shop bought - and dead easy to make.

Mince and tatties

Easy to make, delicious and comforting

Tacos

Meatballs.

I make a lovely dish by frying onions, mushrooms, red pepper, garlic, and chili flakes with mince, then I add fajita seasoning and beef stock, let simmer and reduce. I serve it over homemade oven chips with hot sauce, cheese, and some sour cream. Also nice with baked potato in place of the chips.

The next day, I sandwich any leftover filling between two tortillas with cheese and fry fry to make quesadillas. Serve with sour cream and salsa and guacamole.

Sailsbury steaks. Basically burgers in onion gravy.

You can do stuffed peppers in a slow cooker, or a Peruvian stew - its like chilli but you also add lime and corn.

I like Keema, The kids also eat it which is always a plus.

Press into Burgers.

Or make Sloppy Joe's

Fry it up and bung it in jacket tatties.

Fry it up, pour in baked beans, sling on toast with cheese on top.

Fry it up, cook some giant mushrooms, pour mince on, grate cheese melt under grill.

Theredfoxfliesatmidnight · 26/11/2023 14:28

Tacos! Just buy the shells and a bit of seasoning

Theredfoxfliesatmidnight · 26/11/2023 14:31

Or.. slightly higher effort, but mix the raw mince with 1 egg and finely chopped onion/herbs, shape then cook and you have kebabs.

therealcookiemonster · 26/11/2023 15:01

keema curry with potato and peas

I normally fry beef mince and onions in a big batch and freeze in small portions... Great for whipping up a quick meal - add to noodles or fried rice, add to omelettes for protein kick etc.
