I've found the barrage of emails and ads quite overwhelming so haven't looked for anything until today.... when I bought:

Sunday Riley moisturiser (20% off at Liberty - used my beauty drop money)
An Aura digital photo frame for my parents for Christmas (£30 off)
An Emma Bridgwater calendar for 2024 (10% off)

All things I was going to buy at some point anyway. I don't think I'll look again now as it's too easy to spend money!

What have you bought this year, if anything?

A pack of 60 phoenix rolls reduced to £17 cheaper than amazon on the TikTok shop. Bought that brand before and been surprisingly good

Ariana Grande perfume spray sweet like candy again from the tikok shop reduced from £22 to £9.25

Also bought two perfumes from the essence vault as they're doing a BOGOF offer. They're basically dupes of high end perfumes. I’ve bought from them before and the quality has been good. So I got two perfumes (including delivery) for £18

Nothing this year, but I got a good deal on a pressure cooker last year - got the one with the air fryer capability for the same price as the basic model. As I’ve a very small kitchen, it was a banging purchase.

The discounts on clothing are probably because of the mild October, if the weather had been cold more would have sold then. It hasn't really been that cold at all until now

With the exception of the ps5, everything has been on my wish list for months, and I would have paid full price for all of it if I could have justified it - like the perfume I have checked every duty free when going on holiday but £86 just seems so much when I do already have perfumes to use up so just couldn't justify the cost at the time.
The ps5 was a bit of an impulsive splurge but the dc have had a shit year (stbxh and I split) and have all been amazing so I thought I'd treat them. Joint present and the controllers are for their birthdays next year. I can't wait to see their face on Xmas morning!

The sales are pretty much a con but I did buy my daughter a hairdryer and diffuser for £22, supposedly marked down 50%.

I think I've only bought things that I would have bought anyway. DS and his girlfriend wanted an air fryer for Christmas, so I've bought that. Other DS wanted trainers but these were not in the sale.
I have ordered DH a watch for his 50th next year - it comes with a free bracelet so I guess that's part of Black Friday but I was going to buy it anyway.
All the stuff I want is either full price or out of stock. Think the sales have been rubbish tbh.

A cooker as my old one packed up a week ago. otherwise I wouldn't have bothered as I didn't need/want anything really.

All of my buys were things I wanted and had price checked apart from the ITVx subscription which was an impulse buy. I was particularly happily with my Smeg bean to cup coffee machine which worked out less than half price, I doubt it will be cheaper in January

Was originally looking at P&O but MSC ships are a lot newer than P&O, and was the same price as P&O without the drinks package (which we probably wouldn’t have bought as is quite pricey).

Turns out before I went to bed last night I bought some mode in pelle boots on QVC. I'm not really a show person but felt cold yesterday and they looked warm. I forgot all about them until seeing the order confirmation.
