Is this one of those threads where people can ask for help finding the best deals? I'm after a cordless vacuum, probably a Shark - full size though, not the little handheld one above. I don't have pets, I do have messy children. Floors a mixture of carpet and Amtico (laminate). How do I know which one I want? And what's a good price?

Hi @Sh1eld you certainly can! As luck would have it, we have a whole page dedicated to the best Black Friday deals on Shark vacuums and a handy guide to the best ones by type.

I reckon the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with Anti Hair Wrap would be a good fit - it's currently £169, which is its lowest price ever on Amazon

I've signed up for that too. The invites can come through until midnight on the 25th and when I looked earlier, 73% had been sold so there's chance yet!

If anyone is looking for an iPad Costco online have this deal on an entry level (9th gen) one which is the best deal I can find - £270 for 64GB.
Free delivery. Not sure if you have to be a Costco member (probably).

@Sh1eld I've just bought my mum the VAX Onepwr blade 4 £169.99 direct from VAX with a 3 year warranty and free tool kit, best deal I could find. It's one a lot of awards and has a removable battery which is necessary as we don't want to have to fit it to a wall to charge.

*won 😫

We’ve scoured far and wide for massive savings on the toys and games Mumsnetters love - these are our pick of this year’s Black Friday bunch, but hurry - they won’t last long.

The ever-popular, screen-free Yoto Player starter set is now £88, was £110 and we've spotted up to 20% off Yoto Cards at WHSmith

"Light weight, solid wheels so don’t puncher and easy to use with adjustable seat & handles." - the Banana GT Balance Bike is a hit with MNers - there's 50% off the bike in blue right now, it's £35 down from £70

Less messy than normal sand, Kinetic Sand is a perfect gift for younger kids. Kinetic Sand Scents Ice Cream Treats Playset is just £9 right now, that's a 63% saving

Nintendo Switch Neon Console & Super Mario Bros. Wonder is £259 at Very, down from £300

These are 82% gone as I'm typing this: Barbie Dreamhouse, £175 down from £350

There are some big markdowns on toddler fave Play-Doh: Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Pizza Oven Playset, was £21, now £10 and Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Magical Oven Play Food Set, was £31, now £15

20% off the Toniebox Julia Donaldson Bundle at £92, which includes 3 characters - or get the basic starter set for £64 and pop tonies characters on your DC's Christmas list

I've just bought the Nintendo Switch bundle from Very (with Mario Wonder) - if you sign up for a credit account with them, you get another 20% off, so it's £207.20 for the console and game (plus £3.99 delivery). Such a bargain!

I've had a shark cordless and didn't rate it. I now have a Bosch unlimited 7 which is light years better. JL have it on BF deals but it is more £££.

I’m after 2 x sonic toothbrushes (preferably Phillips or Oral B rather than a random brand) - ideally for £35 or less each! They are for separate gifts so not 2 in one box. Had a look on Amazon but they’re quite pricey!

Thanks for the recommendation @KitchenSinkLlama! 💐It currently has a massive £130 discount at John Lewis, where you can currently bag it for £270.

🚨Hot deal klaxon🚨

Mumsnetter favourite the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser is now JUST £30, with a huge 52% reduction. According to Camel Camel Camel, it's the lowest price it's been all year.

MNers say it's "amazing" and gives them a "Hollywood hairdresser blow-dry", and I have to wholeheartedly agree - I own it myself, and after a bit of time getting used to it, I absolutely love it.

Fraca · 24/11/2023 11:14

Has anyone seen any good deals on mattresses - NOT hybrid or memory foam ones which make me hot (and not in a good way!)

longtompot · 24/11/2023 11:27

Anyone seen any good deals on wool duvets? I'm after a king size one and have my eye on one that's £190, so if I can get one as good as that one but for less that would be marvellous.

banano · 24/11/2023 11:27

if anyone is after a heated throw- this one is brilliant and at a very good price on Amazon (usually £120)
